At this point I don’t want them to rerelease Wind Waker until it’s got HDR in there!!!

Let me tell you! I got one of those big fancy 4K HDR TVs about a year and a half ago and HDR is like 10 times as “WOW” inducing as “more pixels”

I wished there was no patterns either. Still there’s a tiny chance today going on past precedence.
 
Man, I didn't consider the thought that maybe, just maybe, we'd get a Zelda direct in April or something.

Now I'm happy.
 
Hoping to see Fire Emblem soon! Other than that, most directs have something unexpected that gets my attention, so that's exciting to think about as well. Either way, this year is loaded for me. I can't remember the last time I was planning to buy so many switch games in the first half of the year!

I can’t wait to see Nate’s predictions. I get the feeling he thinks Metroid Prime remaster will be announced now and Fire Emblem. That’s just my speculation.

At this point a direct this week has become the dominant opinion, so of course its next week /s

This what I think. It'd be convenient and a by-product of pandemic delays rather than a deliberate strategy that was put into place several years ago.

* When I say well known leaker I'm obviously refering that this has been revealed to me in a dream, so 100% accuracy no fake guaranteed. Also, aparently, following the public outcry, Chris Pratt is now voicing all the roles.

For real though, you all should be expecting the announcement at 8am EST, Nintendo hasn’t been doing any announcements at 9 for the past little while

I thought there was a way people could check to the Nintendo Direct website 15 minutes early to see if Nintendo was about to announce one? They used to do it on Era

Are people still expecting a Mario Movie trailer on Sunday? I realized last night that 3/10 isn't that far off and won't require paying stupid money for a TV spot.

What if Nintendo were just about to announce a Direct but the intern pressed the wrong button and actually deleted the only copy of the Feb 2022 Direct and it’s now lost to time and even Nintendo now can’t remember what’s coming to Switch this year
 
Holy shit. My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken nuggets and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken nuggets out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I'm so distressed right now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean to do that to my mom but I'm literally in shock from the lack of announcement. I feel like I'm going to explode. Why the fucking fuck did they not announce it? This can't be happening. I'm having a fucking breakdown. I don't want to believe the direct is so late in February. I want a future to believe in. I want Breath of the Wild 2 to come out this year and fix this broken decade. I cannot fucking deal with this right now. It wasn't supposed to be like this, I thought all of the hints were pointing to the 9th???? This is so fucked.
