lol yep. Work for the government where people think we are the most incompetent organization yet also able to coordinate a massive scam without any info getting out or one person talking.

Hey yall, I have an actual game question (shocking, I know). Can someone with no prior Pokemon experience jump into Legends Arceus and enjoy it? Or is an innate understanding of the systems and lore required?
 
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is out now for all the world to play, and many of the fine people of Famiboards are obsessed with three things regarding the game, 1) its total sales; 2) making sure as many people as possible know that you actually think the graphics are pretty good; and 3) trying to justify how any reviewer could give the game a score you arbitrarily deem too low without admitting to yourself that they simply didn't like the game as much as you would have preferred and they wrote an honest review.

Now I can't do anything about the last two things, but I can do something about the first. If these threads continue having $5 raffles, and I manage to win twelve (12) of them in a row, then I will have accumulated sixty (60) glorious American dollars for use on the United States Nintendo eShop. In this unlikely event, I promise to use those sixty (60) glorious American dollars to purchase a single digital copy of the video game Pokemon Legends: Arceus on the United States Nintendo eShop. This is, of course, assuming that Nintendo does not make the unprecedented decision to raise the price later above sixty (60) glorious American dollars, in which case I will need to win enough consecutive raffles to allow me to purchase the game before doing so, as I am not spending any of my own glorious American dollars.

I know the fine people of Famiboards would never rig a raffle, I'm just saying is all.

I have yet to play Dark Brotherhood or the storybook games, and I haven't played the Japan-only stuff like the popcorn game or Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car.

I was planning to not pick up Pokemon, but someone got it for me. So I guess I’m playing Pokemon tomorrow lol. Tonight belongs to Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth. The other Switch game that came out today lol.

I'm one of those poor ass gamers that waits until it's used and cheap. I finally got a somewhat satisfactory Wii collection after all these years. Still missing some gems like Little King Story and the "I guess I need to play this because I'm a fan of the series despite it being crap" like DK Barrel Blast.

Look, as much as I'm loving Legends right now, and I haven't played much, I'm gonna say you probably still got the better end of the bargain

This is not a slight against Legends, CrossCode is just that good
 
Xenoblade 3 being in full production since the end of 2018 means that we're aiming for a 4 years full production game. If I'm not wrong Xenoblade 2 was a 2 years full production game with a limited internal staff due to BotW.
Xenoblade 2 was Monolith Soft biggest game in terms of content and technically more complex that Xenoblade X with a totally new battle system, what they accomplished 2 years after XCX was phenomenal.
Now, just imagine what they could deliver with Xenoblade 3 ? Man I'm so excited this may be my most anticipated game of 2022.
 
I’ve only played a little over an hour so far, but if you love Metroidvanias don’t let Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth pass you by during Pokemon hype. It’s immediately very fun. I really like the core push and pull mechanic already where you have wind and fire elements that gain and lose levels as you deal damage in the opposite element or take damage in the equipped one. Some enemies are only weak to one element and you gain HP back if you are at level 3 the max level. I’ve fought four bosses I think and two of them made interesting use of that dynamic already.
 
Major first-world problem here:

I want something to watch whilst I build a big Lego set, but I've gone through most of the good long-form free Youtube content and I don't know what to watch on any of my paid subscription services.

Can anyone recommend any good long-ish documentaries or similar? Not sure I really want to get into a fiction show whilst building Lego.

Man, I must be out of the loop. Didn't even know Xenoblade 3 is a thing, but googling shows rumours dating back to september last year.

Yeah the game has been rumour since a long time, I think that Nate teased about it even before September
 
Running around as a Mii in Mario Golf Super Rush‘s story mode is quite fun and makes me want a fully-fledged, ambitious Mii 3D adventure game by Nintendo (with a sound design as great as in Mario Golf and with free-moving camera).
