Look I think DKR has it's place

But F-Zero X has a more important place

F-Zero X is a game where your brain and the game's universe of sound-barrier destructing speed dance a beautiful ballet set to butt rock

how could anyone not want that
 
@Skittzo I just noticed I don't really have a lot of gaming merch on hand, but I do have my favorite piece which is this keychain.

I got it from the Capcom store as a preorder bonus for buying Trials and Tribulations. I ordered from there just so I could get the keychain and well I got the keychain first, but then had to wait A MONTH for the game to come in and that was pure hell dodging spoilers since my circle at the time was very into AA. After that experience I was less prone to physical preorder bonuses, but I didn't learn my lesson entirely until the Okamiden keychain situation which was again caused the Capcom store. lol So it's neat that I have a small something from one of my favorite series, but it does serve as a reminder not to get too caught up in physical merch that's not the game for myself.

Microsoft now owns Beenox;

They should do a mascot racing game fusing both the DNA of Diddy Kong Racing and Crash Team Racing;

Have the cast of DDKR (sans Diddy and Krunch), other Rare characters like Battletoads, the Crash & Spyro characters, Commander Keen, Blinx, Voodoo Vince and Psychonauts.

At least F-Zero X has already been re-released multiple times by now.

Meanwhile the original version of Diddy Kong Racing has been lost to the ages. All we ever really got was the DS remake which is universally considered to be inferior to the 64 version and therefore just isn't a good substitute for it.

I'm not saying it's one or the other! I absolutely think DKR should get a re-release. It's a good ass game!

But F-Zero X is, to me, an even better ass game

Sorry friends and/or loved ones. I'm not in the mood to meme about the greatness of #TeamJanuary today. I just found out that most people throw away their coveted and delicious dryer lint instead of eating it. Damn. 😢

We already have a western exclusive N64 game: Dr. Mario 64. I think Cruis'n USA/World is gonna have to be a Nintendo/Raw Thrills thing? They used to be Midway and I'm not sure where those rights would have went.

Slow day and/or month, still. The ActiBlizz sale may be big news, but it's not exactly the kind of news we're looking for, or one that generates much fun conversation. We've gotten a few trailers and such so far (Kirby, Sony did one for Horizon) but it still feels like not a lot is happening yet in 2022.

February and March are both stacked with games and we should start getting more news soon, hopefully.

I've seen lists like this going around. I think Pilotwings 64 is out for some legal reason tho? In any case, there sure are N64 games left to do. It's just... I don't know how many of them I actually wanna play haha. Maybe that's just me!

I'd love to play those Goemon games tho

I'd imagine it would be like Mario + Rabbids mixed with the OG Hyrule Warriors. All the universes would come crashing down into a separate universe, so all weapons and items would be available (like FLUDD, the guns from Mario + Rabbids, the bee mushroom, the flight cap, etc).
