It'd depend on the broadcast time. I think the February and June presentations were broadcast the same day in Europe, North America and Japan.

The February Direct was 11PM CEST, making it 7AM in Japan and the June Direct was 4PM CEST, making it 12AM in Japan so both different days actually!

They didn't delay the Direct due to her passing, they just didn't do a live broadcast in the UK, just posting the Direct video an hour after it aired everywhere else. Also, as Dark Cloud has posted, they have made Direct announcements on September 11th before.

Yes. In fact, Shinobi on the purple forum has hinted it. If it's anything like last year, it will be on the same day as the Direct. Direct at 3PM BST and then State of Play at 11pm BST.

Most likely massive announcements from Japanese third party at SoP such as MH (not coming to Switch obviously).

MonHun is so big, if Sony would have the announcement for this, it would be in a Showcase and not a little SoP.

Yes, one that was so important, that they even teased and talked about it during their investor meeting some days before.

This Partner Showcase got more prior promotion than some general Directs.

Skip is dead, and I'm pretty sure every Chibi Robo game flopped.

I realize the same applies to Cing and Another Code/Hotel Dusk, but Chibi Robo got chances a lot more recently then the Cing-verse did.

I still find it very strange that they decided to remake Another Code instead of Hotel Dusk. I always thought the latter was more popular. I don't know what are their expectations sales-wise but I really like that Nintendo decide to use all that money in a niche genre during the Switch era.
 
One of the things that has me doubting Pyoro a little is the potential suggestion that the Wii/DS remake thing is actually Another Code. It's such an out-there choice. Sure, Famicom Detective Club and all, but this is an odd one. Maybe not all Pyoro's likes are hints at what's actually happening, but they're also very selective with what they like and their recent form for leaks is pretty damn solid.
 
This is the THIRD NIGHT IN A ROW where I've had a dream that I was watching a Nintendo announcement or playing the Switch 2.

What is wrong with me

They are both low selling games. I see low chance of profit. I hope somebody else paid for these remakes...

Or hopefully Pyoro is doing a misdirect and its a pokemon remakes. Those would be amazing for sales.

Wasn't Another Code a launch game?
Maybe it got more visibility through that and sold more?

Even though I hear more people talk about Hotel Dusk and Last Window.
I would love a final game in that series to close up some of the plotpoints.

Still never played Another Code, so I would also be open to that.

I can just feel from that game that the devs had the ambition to make the Mario Galaxy 3. But after they had that one Freeze Feature and the orchestral sounding soundtrack they just said this is it, we are so done with this project.
