This direct has the potential to be an all timer bummer for me personally if all of these leaks are accurate.

Don’t really like MVsDK, don’t care about FZero, don’t like point and click games, and peach is easily my least favorite Nintendo Princess. I’m hoping they are just getting the lesser announcements out of the way and the bigger stuff will be a surprise.

Part 2:
l was sitting in my room, scrolling through the only forum you need in your life, when I noticed how the Hype Train started to shake. Without any warnings it changed direction wildly left and right. Then, suddenly we were driving down? 10 Degrees, 30, 50, 64!!! - We were basically falling! As I was asking myself what even is happening, I heard the chanting again. Though this time it sounded different. It got louder and louder when I heard „We are doomed! We are doomed!“. Now I knew what was happening, THE HYPE WAS DYING!

I realised that I needed to do something! So I decided to intensify my believe in the process. I sat upright in bed, closed my eyes and searched for my inner child-lexony, playing on his Nintendo DS at a snowy Sunday Afternoon to get in Trance.

I talked the holy words: 'In directs, as the sole true way to announce games I believe, all directs are great even when there isn‘t always featured a game for me, Leaks or Rumors enhance the fun regardless of what their content is; New exciting Information will come directly to me because I TRUST THE PROCESS!'

The last few words I basically screamed.

When I opened my eyes I could see that there were still a few bumps in our ride here and there, but it got stabilised. I wasn‘t sure if it only was my contribution, but at the moment I was proud of myself.

Without giving it another thought I got up to the dinning car to get dinner.

At this point. Emphasis on the “at this point”, this will probably be a weaker direct and not looked good upon. Still leaks to go and the direct has to be presented of course.

It’s feeling like a this is the end of the tank direct.
 
Literally just any ONE of the following, and I'm ecstatic with the Direct:

-WW and/or TP
-Prime 2, 3, and/or 4
-F-Zero RETAIL game (almost certainly GX if it exists), not 99

Markomaro just seems like a guy who's kinda bored who wants to have fun playing around. Zippo feels way more corporate comparatively
 
Prime 4 is the final promise that needs to be met, the Switch’s arc will be complete after. Full circle from the original 2017 announcement

It’s possible to still pleasantly surprise me as Wonder, Peach and RPG did, but I don’t need anything other than Prime 4 before the new hardware launch. All pre-direct hype rides on Prime 4 for me until we get to the next gen system.

Zippo can occasionally be entertaining, even if said entertainment is pretty formulaic:

“While you cretins squabble amongst yourselves, I, the superior leaker, present my never-before-seen information confirming (insert blatantly piggybacked leak here)!”

(game from blatantly piggybacked leak doesn’t happen)

“Uhh, actually I received new information 5 minutes before the direct happened, and they told me that (leaked game) was on jury duty today and missed the presentation. It’s still happening, and I’m still very right!”
 
The Mario/DK games a certainly not for everyone, including myself, but I'm sure there's a hardcore fandom for them out there who wasn't expecting anything from that series anytime soon who are gonna be stoked.

So good for them.
 
What is Nintendo doing? They see this account slowly leaking their Direct. Are they doing some kind of investigation behind the scenes?

They don’t whine or get defensive. When they’re inevitably wrong, they just keep on truckin’ with another set of completely different fake leaks. Love it.

The last one was 8 years ago. I wouldn't call that an obsession. Plus with the Mario Movie releasing and the Mario - Donkey Kong relationship being a central part of it, it makes quite a bit of sense to bring it back now.

It can, and does, of course. Just saying, this is such an easy copout for any fake leaker to use. They can't be actually proven wrong, so it's particularly irritating.
 
I assume everyone reads his name as "MARK-oh-MAR-oh" but I can't help but read it as "mar-KOM-oh-roh"

Wasn’t the last Mario Vs DK an amiibo game? Well it was “Mini Mario” without DK branding but part of the series.

What if the Amiibo reprint wasn’t for smash, but for this? Would make sense why they changed the backing to a generic branding and not Smash.
