How the FUCK is the Dungeons and Dragons movie the best movie I've seen all year?! The trailers did a horrible job at marketing it. There's a lot more emotional moments than you'd expect, the writing is rock solid, most of the humor works, the action is amazing, and the world building (no surprise here) is the best I've seen in a while. Absolutely ridiculous.

Yup :( We just lost FanByte and Launcher and now Waypoint. Significantly less opportunities for freelancers and staff positions. The bigger places like Game Informer have also been hit pretty hard over the last few years and their staffs are a fraction of what they once were.

Fanbyte definitely stings. The old podast I always enjoyed (99 Potions) has been rebranded as Materia Possesions and is about the same thing it used to be, so that's nice. It's on Imran's Patreon or general podcast feeds, at least that's something!
 
Can these Florida storms kindly fuck off?! I've lived here my entire life and I've never seen storms this bad other than the usual tropical storms. It's stressing me out. Last thing I need is hail damaging my car.

The book doesn’t really have a plot, because it’s mostly Malm talking about climate activism. I got curious and read the blurb for the movie, and I assume the ecoterrorists are basically an extreme example of what is espoused by Malm. Intriguing, to say the least!
 
I have officially preordered The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I cannot wait.

Also means I’m now on the lookout for a game to use my second voucher on. Eyeing Pikmin 4, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Triangle Strategy right now, but I’ll wait on the off chance Nintendo suddenly decides to drop a new 3D Mario or something on us.
 
I REALLY don't want to have to go through the cutscenes in the Shadow Queen fight again. The cutscene where everyone cheers Mario and Co. on was moving the first time I saw it. Now, I'm thinking, "Hurry up and end so I can fight!".

Even if I usually criticize Nintendo for a lot of things, I must admit... they are the best of the big three in this generation.

PS5. What is Sony doing? Why focus just on those super high budget AAAA games (which most of them aren't that great)?
Where are the true next gen exclusive titles?
Why would they launch a new expensive online service that can't compete with Gamepass? And I can't stand the fact that real backwards compatibility is simply discarded...

Xbox. This is even worse. Where are the big games? Why buy all those studios then? Where are THEIR own games? Xbox feels more like a "Gamepass Box" instead of a new system.
Oh, and I really hope that the ABK deal ends up not happening.

Oh dear, the voucher ambivalence is real. I’m leaning towards Triangle Strategy, having hugely enjoyed the demo, but LM3 and Origami King (was it eligible?) looks tempting too.

I got a Voucher because of a discount one official reseller in Brazil had, but I have no idea how I'm gonna spend any of the tickets since I have TotK preordered physical.
Thought about Splathree, but the online experience in the Global Testfire was so bad (even worse than in splatwo) that I'm worried.And even if I got it, I'd still be missing the second game, so right now I think I'll wait for June/September direct to decide what to do with them.
 
For people who are looking for games to redeem a voucher on, Advance Wars is right there and I guarantee it will blow your minds.

I'm pretty sure it's great, but still finishing FE Engage and probably won't finish AW before Zelda comes, so I can wait before deciding. Thanks for the tip, had forgot about this one :).
 
Quick slightly daft question for anyone who's transferred from one Switch to another: If I did a full system transfer, would the "All titles; sort by time played" screen still display all my games with the playtime clocked up so far on both Switches, or would it just sort by how long I've spent on the new one?

I know you can make the hours show on your online profile still, but I've been using that screen as a makeshift playlog found nothing online on whether it would carry over.

I may be completely wrong about this, so if anyone that has actually done it says otherwise believe them.
But I'm pretty sure I've seen either here or in the old place users complaining that the system transfer to the new console does not carry any playtime.

Help, I can't stop making enemy traits that drastically affect how they act in combat when I should be finishing up the last couple levels.

Just made "unstable" which gives the enemy a chance to randomly transform into another enemy of similar level, and "jittery" which gives them a chance to randomly teleport nearby when attacked.
 
youtube recommended this to me, pretty interesting to see at one point nintendo was spending money to make commercials for picross games
