Beat Bayonetta Origins yesterday, and I have to say - what a great game. Unique gameplay and super cool, superb art and soundtrack with great voice actors and just great vibes all around. Some minor gripes with the map but it's not bad.

People complain that Nintendo has been playing it safe lately, but when they fund stuff like this.. people dont buy it. Bah.
A bit sad it's not a commercial hit by the look of it, but I do hope the good WoM will at the very least help it push sales in the long run.

This is close to a 9/10 game for me. Will very likely be a top game for me for the year once 2023 is over

Nah, it's an adaptation of an old TV show. It actually sounds pretty cool, I'm only a little bit worried about the director. David Leitch's stuff is mostly fun but hasn't impressed me as much after he co-directed the first John Wick.
 
Man the Zora nerfs in Majora's Mask 3D are so disappointing. The worst part is they don't have magic bottles spawn in the Great Bay so if you use it up trying to swim you're fucked. Definitely the biggest mistake this remake has made alongside changing Deku Link's water jumps.

This seems like somewhat big news. Hip I hope is going on to focus on his music career. Ishihara was the founder and came from Ape. Wikipedia says both are 65 so I assume this is retirement related but I have no idea what cultural practices are around retirement in Japan.

Honestly expected Nintendo would absorb Creatures if there was ever a change in leadership.

I'll probably watch Mario tomorrow, my gf is not really excited for it, but maybe she'll watch with me next week. Also today I'm preordering Zelda TikTok yaaay.

Seeing the movie next week with my wife and my oldest. I'm really excited, it'll be here first time in a movie theater.
 
I was tempted to do a Mario movie/John Wick double feature, but despite JW playing half an hour after Mario ends, it's only playing in the VIP theatre and my friends are less than keen on paying VIP twice lol

My first Mario game was Mario Bros on the Spectrum, published by… Ocean!



(But yeah my first Super Mario game was on the NES a few years later).

All these young whippersnappers with their ‘super’ this and ‘mega’ that. Back in my day we hit blocks to KO turtles and didn’t need all the super mushrooms 🍄

Picked up my copy of GrimGrimoire OnceMore yesterday and it's great to finally have every western released Vanillaware game on handhelds. Now hopefully Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, Dragon's Crown, and Muramasa Rebirth can be ported to the Switch so I can have them all on one handheld.
 
Oh hey Kloana hit half off. But should I just wait…
Also P4G is 20% off but I don’t think I have a need to grab it till I actually finish P3P
