Funny thing they original wanted a skirt but they were like "we don't want people looking at her underwear, change it to shorts!"
 
Anyone know a good way to determine if a song or tune exists or is similar to something else? Does Shazam do that kinda thing with obscure (read: videogame) music or is it just popular music?
 
Been thinking about console designs recently, and I will always have a soft spot for the SNES/SFC Junior, it's just so gosh darn cute

Paranormasight! Apparently, Square's upcoming adventure game is one of its best, the recent previews are really glowing.

Haven’t used it in a long time but iirc SoundHound could even recognize humming or whistling, and returns anything that sounds similar. Dunno if the service is still around, though. It was hella impressive.

  • At the recommendation of @9-Volt, included pages for The Settlers and Remnants!
    • Known issue: There's an empty square in the bottom row. Can anyone think of another game that should be highlighted in that wall?
  • Added a new warning for the closure of the eShop for Wii U and 3DS, linking to @Barely Able's thread of recommendations
  • Mr. Peanutbutter received a +5% cuteness buff

I feel special being a part of the Day 1 patch
 
Coming back around to a swollen 3DS battery, I've now since removed it from the system, and it's sitting in a container outside to be brought in to an e-waste recycling place with a bunch of other dead batteries.

Should I go with the $20 official Nintendo 1300 mAh battery for 3DS (standard shipping only), or one of the 3rd party solutions that have 2000 mAh and save a few bucks with the possibility I could get it sooner?

I went 3rd party with ifixit when mine wasn’t holding a charge and it’s been great for me. Had for over a year and no issues

Oh man

I really enjoy this team's work, been following them since they were collaborating with Freddie Wong back in the old days. I catch their React videos every Saturday religiously, but.. yeah I couldn't make it more than a minute in on this one. It sitting in my recommendations right next to their video that says "Did we just CHANGE animation FOREVER?" along with all the crap AI "art" has been standing for lately, it's just too sour for me. Corridor is awesome, but man. 😑

I wanted to get a new one but I'm going to skip it as PC gaming is not really my thing anymore. I'm currently playing it on a iPad mini 6 which isn't ideal, but it could be worse. I'm moving super slowly through the game though so I'm not far at all. This is also my 5th time restarting since I'm usually not an open world gamer (I get overwhelmed) but this time I'm just telling myself to take it slowly.

In general, I do like service games and feel that the older I get the better it is to just pick one and stick to that as I don't really like the direction the industry is moving in anyway.

Just spent an hour or so on it making it through the first few temples where they show you the ropes

the elemental combat and "puzzle" usage is very cool

it is such an odd but obviously successful approach to a service game though... playing it in high fidelity on my PC I can't believe (most) people play this on their phone lol. It's like if BoTW got a mobile port.
 
Ok. I hate that Gamefreak made the two new paradox Pokemon Tera raids only. I suck at Tera raids so they might as well as be download codes given out at Gamestop because at least I'd have a chance then. Tera raids I can't win no matter what I do. I was hoping they'd be regular encounters in the DLC instead of this.

Of all the companies that owned Atlus, Sega is the most reassuring, though! Since Sega bought them, at least I don’t have to worry about them becoming a mobile-only studio one day.

I rolled a new game for the Exploring NSO project, this time it's Super Mario Advance 4! I'm interested on the e-reader levels since I've, naturally, already played SMB3 plenty before.

Super late but we had this rumor too omg. The upperclassmen would always tell the freshmen that there was a pool on top of the gym the swimming team used to practice!
