Makes sense. I've literally never heard of this character even with all the exposure to Marvel I've had in my lifetime.

Sony wtf are you doing? I'm one of the few who thinks a live action Spider-Verse can work, but there needs to be a vision. This ain't it.

Sony has the rights to Miles Morales (at least he's the animated movie lead), Spider Gwen, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Woman, Scorpion (HE'S ALREADY FUCKING CASTED SONY USE MICHAEL MANDO YOU HACKS), Black Cat, and Silver Sable. And they're making movies about Madame Web, Kraven the Hunter, and El Muerto. At least Venom makes sense for a movie and Morbius would have been good in the right circumstances, but jesus christ Sony. Just stick to Into the Spider-Verse.

I had no idea who this character is and I have some decent knowledge on Marvel stuff.

Sometimes I wonder what happens at Sony’s meetings. Reminds me of those Amy Pascal mails which leaked detailing the discussions about the Amazing Spider-Man 2 and randomly they add “let’s add dubstep to the soundtrack, the kids love dubstep!”

Same here : "let's use Bad Bunny to play our latin character, after all he's one of the biggest singers in the world right now, so I'm sure people will come see this movie!"

Though I gotta hand it to Sony, it's still a better casting than Jared Leto as Morbius
 
Seriously, Marvel/Sony casted a great actor as Scorpion in 2017, hinted at him being part of a villain team and wanting Vulture to join him, then proceeded to never mention him again and sent Vulture to a different universe to start his own team. Why they gotta do Michael Mando like that? There was clearly no plan in place.

My mind has now been heavily burdened by the unbearable weight of massive talent.

I actually think that they will state again that they‘ll do more "visual content". Still hoping that they‘ll announce a Zelda Series some time in the future.

Anecdotally, I used to see a lot of random players with "G&K [actual name]" as their nick, and from what I gathered the G&K part refers to a French youtube channel. I'm not sure to which degree it was just proximity-based matchmaking pairing me with French players, but these players were everywhere during Splatoon 2's heyday. Like, at least one person per match, and it wasn't just the same dozen people. They were hard to miss.

40k is a big shippment for this type of game when you take into account France size and it’s around what other Team Asano games have got.

I think my work week from hell might be over, finally. 7 days, 13-15 hours each. I still have to finish out this week before I get a weekend, but I'm hopeful the worst is behind me. I desperately need this May vacation, it's getting serious.

Oh, and last night's Better Call Saul was a SCORCHER

I think there was a precedent for sales in general before directs I think there was one before the February direct as well

I think Indie World is, above all, tied to GDC which is long past. So I just don’t think it’s happening.

There could be a Direct within the next two weeks though. Crazier stuff has happened.
 
I think I can see a Mini happening at some point or another, giving us some news about Mario football, AA games and some big name Indie games like Hollow Knight, Outer Wilds…

I dont see Indie World happening in the middle of Japan holidays, Golden Week which starts this thursday and finishes next thursday. And at that point is too late for an Indie World imo

I'm so out of the loop when it comes to Direct lore I couldn't even tell you if any of the arguments over the last few posts make any sense or not.
 
I guess I should probably download Pokemon Bank on 3DS before the eShop closes down.

Probably spend a whole weekend transferring everything I can from Ruby/Emerald/FireRed to Diamond/Platinum/Black to X/Moon to Pokemon Home

AI: The Somnium File is definitely a more enjoyable game with a guide. The puzzle solving segments really bogged down the game. They were too trial and error with logic that wouldn't come naturally to the player. Hopefully the sequel improves on those portions, hopefully by getting rid of the "time" limit altogether.
 
Really wish video game movies weren't a thing;

No, I don't want my favorite games being recognize by a wider audience; I'm fine with my niche.
