Ive followed those guys for years and I swear never heard them mention it once till today when I watched their Ninja Turtles preview he said “oh yeah my Dad is in the game back as Raphael” and I was like wait wut

No cap, when I was watching the Dungeons and Dragons Direct, part of me was hoping for a DnD: Tales of Hyrule or some shit, despite knowing it was never gonna happen

I mean, aside from potential technical hurdles we're not in the know about, you could also argue that they prioritised battery life over the higher framerate. Raising the frame rendering instances by going for more fps would've likely been the biggest burden on the processor.

Not saying they couldn't have gone for 60 anyways, but it would've come at a cost they seemingly were not willing to account for.

Well, Soulslike combat only changes when you change how you play it. But you can and often will just stick with one style the whole way through (I know I do) so it can get a bit repetitive.

Would it though? I feel like Hyrule is a pretty basic setting, at least in respect to making a DnD campaign out of. But I suppose the bones are there for something interesting.

@Derachi ssid he was from Newfoundland I think. So that makes his dad that one airport everyone was stuck at on 9/11. I think that’s the most famous thing from there.

with any critique of a game I instantly assume it’s a critique of management, even going as far to sub that for “devs” if I believe someone is mistakenly putting the blame on my fellow engineer/designers/creative wonders

well I mean I think it would be fair to say after 3 games, Kevin Durant having about as many field goals as turnovers is pretty inexcusable. Like doesn’t mean I think he isn’t trying or something.,he’s better than that regardless of how well the celtics are playing, not a great performance. I don’t know what the reasons or what issues were, but at a certain point when the end result is that jarring you have to ask some questions.

I don’t mind them going for a much more simple visual style than a full blown remake some people were expecting.. But if they were going to go in this direction performance really needed to be a higher priority than it apparently was

Weird, HP used to be such a popular franchise. It’s almost like something alienated the fanbase or made it disinterested. Wonder what it could be.
