If they can take the time to put some work into the Arwing levels I am for it! That is the only downside to the Adventures in that they were tacked on because the game was an original IP and development switched to become a Star Fox game. If a new game was in consideration I would like them to take some ideas from KI: Uprising and SF: Assault in that you start the level in space and work your way through an enemy fleet in space, go down to the planet and land on the planet and that would be the start of the area you explore.

I concur completely! I've never played a Starfox game prior to Adventures on Gamecube, and while I enjoyed the Arwing levels it left a lot to be desired and I wish they were more fully fleshed out. I am a little torn on whether to keep the Zelda-dungeon style of Adventures or move to the Assault design; while I loved the multiplayer I was let down by the fact ten missions were all too quickly over. I genuinely enjoyed how fully fleshed out Dinosaur Planet was and I kinda want to dig out my 'cube to replay it just to take in the scenery haha

Unlocked pink Pikmin in Bloom and now remembering the warm glow I felt watching columns of Pikmin roam around the map with pink ones flying overhead and once again I am tempted by Pikmin 3 DX

Tried to order that Earthbound notebook on the Nintendo site in exchange for platinum coins but somehow payments don't go through atm. Damn, I really hope they've fixed it tomorrow, because that code to order it is only valid for like 48 hours and I collect notebooks and stationary so missing on this item is no option for me.

I have a huge backlog and unfinished games and since playing the definitive edition of DQXI on Switch whenever I play an RPG, I compar it to that. Makes me want to replay it again lol

I’m happy I pushed through, because it did… drag at some point. Still the game is fun to play, although you don’t need to mind a more traditional RPG

I really recommend playing some of the older titles first if one has the time (which is an exeption nowayads to most people lol), since the additions of the Tickington quests and the literally HUNDREDS of hommages in the game to older titles.

I only played DQ VI before this, so I have little reference to the original games lol.

I wonder why SE hasn't made a DQVII mobile version yet and ported the mobile ports outside 1-3 to Switch and other platforms. I am replaying the whole series slowly while waiting for DQXII and this would make it such an easier task. Also I'm ignoring DQ IX when I refered to titles SE should port to mobile/Switch because even if it would be a perfect game for both mobile and Switch I have lost hope for it coming to modern platforms
 
Fuck, my TV has developed a small, but noticeable vertical line :( It very slightly changes the colours, so it's worst in lower-contrast, still scenes. I first noticed it whilst watching Better Call Saul (lots of slow, lingering shots to notice it on) and, even after a pixel refresh, it's still there.

On the other hand, I've started losing weight again and I feel great. But, of course, shit like the above makes keeping that motivation much harder. At least I actually played more of Kirby today - game's fucking great and so damn adorable.

There actually is a mobile version of DQ7. They just haven't released it outside of Japan. I believe it's the same as the 3DS version but with random encounters.

I desperately want 9 on switch.
 
Didn’t sleep the best last night but I still trekked through skyward sword some more, done with the ancient cistern dungeon.

Gotten a headache this afternoon but, thankfully, didn’t last long like some do
 
By the way, Cinemacon is this week. Much of the stuff isn't released online, but it is a time when movie studios showcase their upcoming slate to theatre owners. I don't see any way Universal doesn't talk about or show something of Mario. Again, any footage might not get released to the public, but we should at least hear about it. I think Universal is on Wednesday.

I'll be there as press, so I'll try and give y'all the scoop ;-)
 
I got back into Pokémon GO lately. My dad checked it out again when the Alola Pokémon came out and now I check every day again. Came back in time for some Community Day reruns (Bulbasaur and Mudkip, my beloveds), and today was Stufful community day! Great because I love Stufful and Bewear.

It still depends on SE first because they publish the PS4 and PC/Xbox(if they bother with the last two) versions so Nintendo can't just publish it until SE also does (only case would be NoA doing a temp exclusivity deal for the West which I don't see it) . And we all know how slow it's SE when it comes to DQ games releasing in the West if they don't have Nintendo backing

There are still a lot of people online. And you can play the Octo Expansion which takes 8-10 hours thanks to the expansion pack.
If you can find the game for $30 then that's a really good deal I think, before Splatoon 3 comes out.
