Oh if we're counting 3rd party games that Nintendo could announce themselves thenSince I have no Twitter I'll bite here:
- Eternal Darkness: Revenge of the Ancients
- New fighting game IP (think Killer Instinct meets KoF)
- Actraiser III (is S-E IP I know, a person can dream)
- The Quintet trilogy remasters ft. Soulblazer, Illusion of Gaia & Terranigme (see above)
- Skies of Arcadia Legends remastered (yes, it's SEGA. Still....)
- Super Mario Sunshine II (you know you want it!)
- Legend of Zelda Maker
- NES Remix 99 (free for NSO subscribers, but there's a physical edition too like Tetris 99)
- Nintendo World
- Mario + Rabbids II
- Astral Chain II
- Super Nintendo World Cup (Kunio kun in HD-style, it will be glorious!)
and loads more.
Seconding this as wellTotally standalone, fleshed out Subspace Emissary 2. Built from ground-up as single player experience with the most fanservic-ey cutscenes ever.
Sure, why not.Don't worry, the best DK franchise is soon getting a new entry on Switch

What will be the chances of having access to Baten Kaitos, either remasters of Eternal Wings of Origins, or a new game, on modern consoles? I'm quite afraid that IP is dead and buried
Considering the Klonoa 1 and 2 pack, BK is not so distant from that concept, you can also just do a simple HD job with the background and X2 and call it a dayWhat will be the chances of having access to Baten Kaitos, either remasters of Eternal Wings of Origins, or a new game, on modern consoles? The art director of the Baten Kaitos series wants to make a third one a reality
The Baten Kaitos series hasn't had a new entry in ten years. But it sounds like there might still be hope for a third one.www.nintendo.destructoid.com
Now it's when I kill your hope : Yasuyuki Honne is the head of Monolith Kyoto which their only job at the moment has been supporting EPD titles and it seems like it's going to keep being like this.
I.... wtf???? How did I miss this????
True true. I do not expect anything. I would just be glad with a remaster of the first two games. Especially since we didn't get Origins in Europe. I'm dying to play that game. Now it's when I kill your hope : Yasuyuki Honne is the head of Monolith Kyoto which their only job at the moment has been supporting EPD titles and it seems like it's going to keep being like this.
I'm so happy I got to tell you about it, it's my most looked forward to game this year besides XC3I.... wtf???? How did I miss this????
Getting rid of all of my social media accounts has me kept out of the loop I guess.
This makes me really really happy!
see, as much as I love them, the problem with bringing Kremlings back right now is the klear Kold War konnectionDonkey Kong Country Kremling Katastrophe

With or without collision detection?Pilotwings 99. I’m not sure what that is. Maybe you have 99 planes all trying to land on the same runway.
What if they rename them? Like the Kroclings?see, as much as I love them, the problem with bringing Kremlings back right now is the klear Kold War konnection
I mean if Advance Wars was delayed, I don’t see them eager to release something with a less direct but more literal connection to a trivialized Russian state threat
With of course. Or maybe you have miis in wing suits and jet packs vying for the same tiny target. With or without collision detection?
That would be YouTube gold. With of course.

Honestly Starfox Adventures 2 would have me ecstatic; the first game was my real first Zelda title if I'm being honest and for having full voice acting and cutscenes, it's what people didn't realize they wanted when they asked for it in the run of games copying the OoT formula. Could be something to try for those who still want that traditional Zelda formula if it can also fit in some appropriate guided rail shooting for the Arwing sequences. My dream game would be a new RPG Mario game. I love the first 2 Paper Mario games and respect that they wish to do something different with the series even if it's not for me, the Mario & Luigi series for now is basically dead until the decision is made to resurrect the series, and I like the Mario + Rabbids game, but I am not the biggest fan of tactics games. My runner up would be a Star Fox Adventures 2 that moves past Andross and gives us a new villian and story.
Well, I do feel Ubisoft should do something with the Prince of Persia-franchise on Switch. Dunno why, I just feel that series really fits the Switch. (And I of course want it really bad haha!)This is what I wrote on Discord to answer the tweet, "On a serious note, I don't know what else can Nintendo announce. I feel like the Switch is complete. I'll take the games, sure. But I don't think the Switch is missing anything. Just give me BOTW2 as a swansong and get ready for Switch 2."
I got another dream game: Mario + Rayman
Keighly really wants the Summer Direct to be on the SGF.
Rayman, Ubisoft's first big success story that put them on the map in the first place.Rayman? That character from the Rabbids spinoff games?
Wait, what? I thought Ubisoft started in 2007 with Assassin's Creed..Rayman, Ubisoft's first big success story that put them on the map in the first place.
Pretty sure that was the Rabbids. I've never heard of a Rayman game outside of a couple of fan games. I never got why people were obsessed with a side character.Rayman, Ubisoft's first big success story that put them on the map in the first place.
If they can take the time to put some work into the Arwing levels I am for it! That is the only downside to the Adventures in that they were tacked on because the game was an original IP and development switched to become a Star Fox game. If a new game was in consideration I would like them to take some ideas from KI: Uprising and SF: Assault in that you start the level in space and work your way through an enemy fleet in space, go down to the planet and land on the planet and that would be the start of the area you explore.Honestly Starfox Adventures 2 would have me ecstatic; the first game was my real first Zelda title if I'm being honest and for having full voice acting and cutscenes, it's what people didn't realize they wanted when they asked for it in the run of games copying the OoT formula.
