I've long since given up port-begging games from western AAA publishers. That's energy that could be spent bothering Atlus on Twitter for Odin Sphere or annoying indie devs like the folks behind Anno Mutationem.
It's the Japanese publishers who ask us the beg though. They still don't comply, we had three baffling Switch snubs from them this year: Star Ocean, Soul Hackers and One Piece Odyssey. It's like they feel Switch is done for, which can't be far enough from the truth.

Maybe it's coming to Switch Pro that even he does know nothing about?

I refuse to give up on the dream. It might be my only way to play them and I really want to play them.

Okay, I like this video.

So I'm playing:

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins

Elden Ring

Yakuza 0

And some other game I'm forgetting.

Seriously, I'm not sure what to play; I'm almost done with two games that I'm playing.

rip all you freaks born after the internet went public

Haha

Funny Internet.

Funny Internet has jokes.
What's really gonna bake your noodle later on is:
Was that popular when I was in elementary school, high school, or college? Was I already married by the time this was popular? By posting it did I actually reveal my age at all?
Mwahahahahahahahahahaha

He's just like me fr.... yeah I'm having roller skates instead of feet

Subnautica is too long. Been playing that shit for 7 months now and just got to that part with lava. I havent even started below zero yet and i can say that 3 needs to be shorter lol

One Piece is a Bandai game and we all know that Bandai bar their JP only games if Nintendo doesn't pay for the ports they are not releasing on the Switch
Soul Hackers 2 it seems like development started around 2018/2019 and no Switch version was planned at that point so it seems a situation of Atlus being Atlus not that the Switch is 'dying' for 3rd party developers.
Star Ocean is the only case where I can see what you mean of 3rd parties not even trying to bring the games to the Switch, and I could see more of this situation repeating this year and next (or until Nintendo releases the new Switch)
I agree, but i dont think nintendo is moved solely by sales, if there was an studio up to the work i imagine we would get a new fzero.
It's not about sales it's about the games having some place in Nintendo lineup to distinguish themselves from the other Nintendo games , I don't think Nintendo feels F-Zero has that much value in that sense but as you said if some studio pitched some great idea related to F-Zero which would bring something unique/interesting to Nintendo lineup they would for sure accept it .

The Splatoon team is the most creative and imaginative Nintendo team yet. Say all you want, but Splatoon is the best thing that has creatively happened to Nintendo in the past years.

The Octo Expansion is one of the best 3D platformers ever made and I urge you all to play it, it's just excellent.
And now, we are 4 years after the DLC, just imagine how much the team has been able to do in that time.
Just getting a proper campaign with these stunning environments is incredible :

sorry but I love Splatoon with all my heart. This is clearly my favorite Nintendo series ( with sin and punishment but this one is deader than dead )

The Octo Expansion gives me great hope for Spla3n. I can't wait to see what they do after that precedent was set.

I don't think Nintendo paid for any of the ports from Bandai. Nintendo does assist some of the third parties bringing their games to Switch but only when they mean something like Skyrim or Dragon Quest. I doubt Nintendo paid for those My Hero games or ports of Naruto UNS titles. One Piece Odyssey is either one of those situation where devs think western audience prefer home consoles more or it's coming to Switch later.

Soul Hackers 2 is probably coming to Switch but a year later. Strange that they didn't go the effort for a day and date release for a game whose prequel was on a Nintendo platform.

Star Ocean is a weird situation. Square's literally doing "let's make a graphically contemporary game to appease our western audience" again AFTER they did it and failed miserably with Star Ocean 5. Did they really not learn their lesson? Bigger the budget, bigger the losses. At least port the shit to Switch so you can salvage some of the money you spent.

Out of the 3, One piece has the biggest chance of being a late port, Bamco MO lol. Same with SH2.

The weird one is Star Ocean, being honest and looking at the footage Tri-Ace arent tech savvy so I can see this game being a Stranger of Paradise, a suboptimal game with frame pacing issues that is ok. They dont have the best track record

Wifi is out due to maintenance, and my dinosaur arse can't even figure out how to open multiple tabs on my phone lmao.
I hate using the internet on my phone but it's that or read a book, engage with society, or play a video game like some sort of human being.

Edit: Hot take but I only play Splatoon in single player and I still love it and feel like I get my money's worth from it.

You're not alone! I play SP and will dabble with Turf Wars and Salmon Run for the first month but then I have no urge to "git gud" so I bail on MP once people with tricked out gear start showing up. I tried ranked once just to see what the other match types are like and noped out of that faster than Sonic on speed.

Theories:
1. Servers are up and running despite the delay
2. They could be running preview access for journalists in advance of announcing a new release date

on a more serious note: new Genesis games coming in???

Not the regular game update time + they did one for NES earlier in the week with nothing coming from it. They've been going through and doing online maintenance for every single first-party software for reasons we don't know.

I'd say 1. I don't think the game is coming out until at least June.

Hopefully May since itโ€™s a desolate wasteland in terms of things gaming wise I want

Also took a nice break from here and the internet most of the day. After that last migraine wave and feeling dead tired today. Just needed some focus elsewhere for a change

I can see Advance Wars coming in late May with just a tweet from Nintendo and zero advertisement.

When AW pops up it pops up, look forward to it

Also in a pretty good mood, one of my most anticipated shows of the anime season starts tomorrow

Iโ€™m sure we have some other Toku fans interested

The new Dread update is quite packed, they did more than i thought :). I still hold hopes that they will announce some sort of last big update in the june direct (aka not e3)

Lego Star Wars is at #2 and #3 on the eShop. That's pretty impressive. I thought it would do well but didn't think it would take up 2 of the top 3 spots. Chrono Cross is at #6.

Iโ€™ve had Wind Waker Link as my Profile Icon since switch launch. Nothing will take that awaโ€”

โ€ฆ.Kirby burger? See ya Toon Link!

Real talk, I'd love it if they actually expanded Link and Zelda's relationship in BOTW2. Like, actually let it develop and go places and BE a relationship over the course of the game. Of course, that'd require them to actually have Zelda not be sidelined for most of the game, so we'll see if that's even possible.
