Couldn't resist making that jokeYes!
....yes
Come on Nintendo.
Do something. Release like a trailer to an upcoming 1st party game. Or meme something
I’m bored lol
I think they don't know what to do with Chrono Trigger really. 3D remake like Trails of Mana with bigger budget , HD-2D remake , just straight port or even some unique 2D remaster are all options I could see SE taking . It seems like all the fan base is pushing for HD-2D remakes of all their SNES era titles but that could be a mistake on the long run I think due to lack of identity some titles could suffer it all of them look samey if not enough space is given between releases . I think SE should focus on TS+Octopath franchises and make remakes of all DQ 1-6 with HD-2D (I still think it would have been better to make DQ III remake a DQ 1-3 remake which would all follow the story of the first three games but that may be me being too much of a dreamer when it comes to DQ) + some lesser known JRPGs of the era like Live A Live which appreciate the boost of hype created by being in HD-2D.HD-2D Chrono Trigger is an inevitability, as far as I'm concerned
Someday we'll get it. Square knows people would be all over that
You got us Mario Golf on NSO like ten minutes later. Ask more often please lol.Come on Nintendo.

It's definitely coming. I'm pretty sure it's the next HD-2D remake we'll get, after Dragon Quest 3.HD-2D Chrono Trigger is an inevitability, as far as I'm concerned

I'm here for the whole Square-Enix PS1 catalog on Switch thing. It's like revisionist history in the best way.Anyway onto a more relevant topic I hope you are all ready to finally have Chrono Cross available on a Nintendo system after 23 years.
It's still good and really can be played independently of Trigger. What good is chrono cross without having Chrono trigger
Was this known about?
Nvm it's Nintendolife not Nintendo. Me being hasty and not paying attention. This is why trademarks exist.
I think its better to treat Chrono Cross and Trigger as if they were DQ games and you played DQ IX first instead of DQ III , both masterpieces of their generations and even if they share some stuff due to being in the same franchise but outside of that really different.People should give Chrono Cross a try, even if they can't play Trigger for the moment, because it's a great game by itself. It's like Xenoblade Chronicles 2, you don't have to play the first one to experience one of the best JRPG ever created and it's definitely the same with Cross.
Konami executives: We made what in the 80s and 90s?I wonder if Konami is on board of NSO. There are too many of their N64 games I wanna play. Even the crappy ones like Deadly Arts or Hybrid Heaven.
Hey, Hybrid Heaven could very well be the next Metal Gear Solid!I wonder if Konami is on board of NSO. There are too many of their N64 games I wanna play. Even the crappy ones like Deadly Arts or Hybrid Heaven.
Baseball,Horse Racing and Momotaro just like we do now !Konami executives: We made what in the 80s and 90s?
What’s up with this actually delimiter? Like was the music considered bad or something by people? Is it just me or does Final Fantasy XV actually have great music?

Edit: Anyways, carry on.
Another win for the Switch Killer
Never heard of this person!I mean, Yoko Shimomura.
A game could be complete dogshit but still have a banger soundtrack if she is composing.
She contributed to the Street Fighter II soundtrack. You’re welcome.Never heard of this person!
I'm intrigued. Tell me more!
Oh. Err, I meant, like, good examples of her music, I guess. She contributed to the Street Fighter II soundtrack. You’re welcome.
I’m on my phone right now but will gladly provide examples in the morningOh. Err, I meant, like, good examples of her music, I guess.
Idk. I was just hoping for more info, but eh.
Amazing!I am playing Banjo Kazooie again through the Switch app and it makes me really inspirational to try and give my own shot at game design and development.
Over the years I have noted down so many ideas that felt good at the time. And a couple of years ago I started toying around in GameMaker and learned the beginnings of coding but now I am thinking "With all these modern creation tools at my disposal, wouldn't it be possible to lay down a fundament for a 3D platformer on my own?"
It's a staggering amount of work and time investment but chipping away at it day by day sounds like something rather fun, I'd learn a lot of skills down the road and I could be more than just the idea guy. I want to give it a shot.
I started programming that way, as a kid working in QBasic on DOS, and it basically gave me my career. So don't have an opinion on Unity vs Unreal, but I encourage you to just run with it, and see what happensHave any of you tried Game design and/or development as a total beginner on your own and any tips whether there would be big limitations in using Unity vs. Unreal if I just want to start out with simple graphical assets?
YuuuuuusssssssssI’m on my phone right now but will gladly provide examples in the morning
