Mk8d and arms look so damn good. Id love if the team behind those games tackled on another ip so i could see their technical prowess with another artstyle. Not that Mario Kart 10 wouldnt be great too ofc.

Same reason i wanted so so much for NLG to do something new and was pretty disappointed with mario strikers. Happy for the fans thon still holding up on the dellusion that the entire studio cant be working on it and a new ip is coming at any moment now... right?

The good news is that Super Mario Sunshine 2 will take BotW2’s holiday slot

Mario Strikers was a dormant IP for 15 years and many people believed it would never return under modern Nintendo. I definitely believe Strikers deserved to be made; it’s not some super obvious sequel.

I know, i dont mean it as in strikers is undeserving of getting another sequel. Im happy for the fans and will probably buy it if the online is good, although judging by lm2 and 3's online im not that hopeful lol

What's the point in having a June Direct if there's no E3? Wouldn't it make sense to do it earlier?

There's gonna be some sort of Direct next month, I'll bet my avatar on it.
if you had planned on a June Direct for months to align with digital E3 and then digital E3 gets canned, you can't pull the rug under your devs (or third party devs) and make them prepare presentable footage for a Direct one month earlier

the big summer Direct will be June. Tied to Keighley's thing or not doesn't really matter

June also works because nothing else is dated after Live A Live in July.

The Legend of Zelda: Born to be Wild
How do you think it compares to Breath of the Wild?

And, most importantly, how will it compare to every other game out there, from your typical open-world game to your yearly NFL game?

Hot wheels unleashed has been a blast. It’s made me feel like a kid again as I used to be obsessed with hot wheels as a kid. They even have a few favorites of mine from those days in the game.

Still have my old hot wheels collection but it’s all put up for now.

Just wanted something nice and soothing to play today and the game has been a blast

I updated the database and set everyone who was still in Wario mode back to Dark mode since you freaks don't know how to change the dang style
Light mode is better.

Edit: It's easier on the eyes for me and less depressing.

Edit 2: Here's where you can find the theme button:

Damn. The N64 switch controller is expensive.

I’m getting the urge to sell mine since I never opened it cause I was moving states and had it in storage till today lol

@merp one of my hopes for Star Wars games in the future now that EA won’t be the exclusive license holder to,it is that they’ll approach some developers to make games with the switch in mind. Hunters is a good idea of this though I am not sure on how it will be monetized. Lego Star Wars is a better example of something good with the switch in mind.

Though, I hope we get some examples like the rogue squadron games from the N64 and Gamecube.

What I liked about Star Wars games during the lucas arts days is that there was a good bit of variety and no console was left out most of the time

I was going to say I even said how to change it in the Warioboards acquisition thread, but I guess technically all I said was that you could change it and Wario couldn't stop you.

Pour one out for everyone who only uses Light Mode and now can't change it from Dark. I'm so glad Wario Time!!! is still an option though. Wario would have left that as default (for anyone who had an account when it was implemented) and left them to fend for themselves

I just wanted to let y'all know I've finally gotten my hands on one of those newfangled Nintendo Switch devices (of the OLED variety) all the cool kids have been raving about.

This means the summoning has commenced; you will all have shiny new hardware to enjoy in the near future, and I will be behind the times yet again.

Y'all're welcome.

My hope is for some rogue squadron spiritual sequel. Havent played those games yet but it would be so cool to get an exclusive, AAA star wars game on switch.

a tiny link that says “Wario Time!” to turn off the April Fools joke that we didn’t turn on in the first place isn’t exactly intuitive.

Also, the “Default Style” is still Wario, so maybe stop telling people they’re idiots.

I'm joking when I'm calling y'all freaks, but you're right that it's not intuitive. It's the default way our site software does it, and I have not made a custom change to make it more intuitive.

Given how few people apparently know how to set a preferred style, or change the style at all, I should really bump it up my priority list. Nobody needs to suffer Warioboards longer they need to — which was intended to only be for a few seconds during the initial surprise switch.

I stopped of use Firefox for Android recently, because of a bug where letters and words appear "invisible".
On Desktop it isn't even a contest for me, FF all the way, but their mobile efforts really aren't too hot. Main thing is being able to use uBlock, but is it worth it for that to put up with all the other quirks and issues? Can't say I'm totally convinced anymore.
