I would say around a 5/10. Not that I think it will be shit. But I am not overhyped that there is a direct for sure this week (though last month I already told myself it is the 10th of February). But on the other hand it could be next week.

If nothing happens then.... I have games to play.

I honestly didn't know about this place until I saw Emily mention it in a sales post on twitter. So glad to have found a Nintendo forum community that's not... gaf or era.

DK could be quite a surprise title. I expect Fire Emblem, Xenoblade being the big showstealers. Zelda, Metroid are something for the second half of 2022.

Some surprise titles like DK or Golden Sun are always good.
 
Out of all the rumored games DK is the one I’m least expecting. It’s the one with least amount of insiders behind in. Nobody has heard a good amount of details on it. There’s just nothing much to this DK game.

Would love to see it, but there are so many rumored titles for this year I just don't see where it would even fit

I don’t think Nintendo should be faulted entirely for the lack of Xenoblade X port. Emily said that Nintendo gave Monolith Soft a choice between Xenoblade X port or a new game after Xenoblade 2 came out. MSI chose the latter.

I believe there is still a strong desire to go back to Xβ€”its not ideal to port two games in a row back-to-back between Xenoblade DE and X. I think they made the correct decision as they can use the next original game to tie in to X if they wanted to.

I don't really have expectations, but I would like to see:

  • More of Kirby
  • Splatoon 3 story/new girls + release date
  • 3DS games being re-worked and brought over to Switch. Give me FEH Awakening!
  • Oracle of Times/Ages remakes OR a new original 2D Zelda
  • The casual game to be something you can play online with friends/family.
  • A new Switch Lite (probably won't be OLED). Hopefully white with Super Famicom button colors.
 
just FYI - there's enough time left for you to buy, download and finish Sayonara Wild Hearts.

The Oracle remakes is my most hidden dream. I would cry. They are so beautiful
 
As your most credible insider, I can confirm Kirby will be in this direct. This isn't a very easy guess as you can tell. You can thank me in advance.
