What I’d love to see in the buildup to an X2 is if they built a sequel of sorts into X. Something like Future Connected, but your same character that just keeps going after the credits.

Even if we get a Direct this week, the big news for me will still be that there's actually a national day for pizza and a national day for umbrellas...

Had not heard of you before but I looked you up and I like your content! :)
 
Tbh the announcement that I’m more excited about is the new FE right now.
I have still the hope that we will se the title of BotW2, but I don’t want to hype about that cause it’s really unlikely lol

Also this is the last chance for Triangle Strategy to convince me to buy it at day1 or wait… and it will depend also by when the new FE will come out.

Lastly really hope for a Bravely Default 2 DLC about the origins of the Night Nexus but I think it won’t happen lol, I hope they’ll do a sequel/prequel in the future tho (and maybe tie the story with BD and BS? Imo it can work out well since Bravely is all about different worlds and realities)

And if they announce P4G for switch… well I’ll buy it again lol. It’s my favorite game of all time.
 
A part from the ones that im really excited like MP remastered(probably in a summer direct but who know) and more info on Bayo 3 and something Fire Emblem

I really hope to see a big indie like Silksong or Pantasian coming to Switch

Also the Klonoa stuff, i really want to play Klonoa 2
 
How many hours till the potential announcement?
Gotta say this thread is bad for me, I'd been completely patient about when the next direct was going to happen but coming here has got me like rabid for it now haha. Here's hoping it's announced today. I believe.

Klonoa 2 is a fantastic game and it deserves some sort of remaster/re-release, especially since it's older and so glitchy emulation wise. More people need to access and love this classic!

I have to study but I really can't concentrate lol the hype is too high.
Likely if it's not this week I'm 100% sure it will be the next.
...And now watch Nintendo waiting till the last week of March to do a direct

Nate gave us a picture of a pizza themed umbrella. Wednesday in America is national pizza day, Thursday is national umbrella day, so this is the week.

The first episode will cover two games, since one of these game is a game I can’t play because it’s the only game that gives me motion sickness : Balan Wonderworld. I just can’t see the « unwrapping » effects in some of the levels (like the first one) without feeling sick and dizzy. It’s the only game to have this effect on me, in my +32 years of gaming… and since I love plateformers with exploration (like the game I have in my profile picture), that frustrate me a bit.

Also I don’t want to blame the game for this, apparently there’s only a very few people who feel like this while playing BW.

So since I won’t be able to cover the game, I’ll talk a bit about it just to explain why I won’t review it.

EDIT :
And no, I don’t intend to be another « angry reviewer » even if I talk about games I dislike ; the goal is also to explain what I found that kept me playing until the very end.
 
Probably gonna miss that sweet, sweet 2pm GMT announcement frenzy thanks to stupid work but I should be around for shitposting either side of that.
 
Where do people stand on Silksong? A lot of time when it gets brought up in Indie World hype, there's often the reply that it's "big enough for a Direct".

In theory, it is. But it is not weeb enough for this upcoming Weeb Direct, sorry.

I just think if we see it this year, E3 and onward is more likely.

TMS probably was way way easier and costed less to port lol
Takahashi (the Monolith one, not the EPD one) always said it would cost way too much to port X to Switch.

Sure, but if they wanted they could have port Xenoblade X and there would have been a return on investment. Xenoblade X has the possibility to reach more than 1M players and even if the port needs work I don't think that it would cost that much of money.
I just hope that we'll see the game at the very end of the Switch era at least..

TMS flopped hard so I hope for them that it was easier to port lol
