Oh, I ran into this sort of thing semi-often when I preordered stuff. My location at the time was very picky in what they would stock so for things less well known or popular I always had to put in an order unless I just Amazoned it. I didn't start using Amazon until way later though, cause back then I just loved getting something right then and now at that moment.( I still do honestly)
 
I had a situation once where I was the only person who bought a game, albeit a special edition. I got the Forza Motorsport 4 Limited Edition on launch day, and I had preordered it from my local Gamestop. It turns out that was the only copy of the LE they received, as according to the person I talked to, because the store had relatively low traffic, MS would only ship enough LEs to fulfill pre-orders. Since I was the only one who pre-ordered it, my copy was the only one.

Nier Replicant is fantastic so far. I hope the quality sticks throughout the rest of the game.

We had a similar bunny in our yard and one day it disappeared so we figured it left to greener pastures. Then my dad found its remains hanging off a branch of a tree like something out of Predator.

This absolutely counts. The goal is to get cute pictures of pets and other domesticated-adjacent creatures and discussion about the same.
 
i'm so saddened by this pet raffle because a lizard family, monkeys, toads, chickens and a gigantic white dog that looked like a polar bear used to live close by and now i have no idea where they are.

i think the lizard family was captured, the toads were actually killed because of a construction site nearby and the rest were someone's who moved.

now all we have is regular dogs and cats. especially cats.

I was adding Persona 5 Strikes to my PS Plus library and I realize that there are a ton of games that I really should play. Things like Shadow of the Colossus, Control, Infamous Second Son, Nioh, Darksiders 3, Kingdoms of Amalor. Fuck, even Lords of the Fallen is in my library. When the fuck did that happen? So I decided I should go through some of these starting with Titanfall 2. It's downloading now so maybe I'll get to play it tomorrow.

Well okay then! It's definitely wild, but the rabbit and I have an understanding. I don't bother it and let it eat whatever it wants in the yard, and it lets me take cute pictures without running away.

Longtime lurker stumping for well wishes.

My wife delivered our second child 4 weeks early. Everyone is doing alright, except for the fact that there is a nonzero chance that all of us (myself, my wife, and our son) have COVID. We work in a school district that revoked mask mandates in December, and everyone around us is getting ill. It would be tragic if it wasn’t so stupid.

I have no doubts we will be fine. My wife and I are boosted, and our son has very mild symptoms. It is just a little too much stress at once, and I forgot to take my (admittedly low dosage) anxiety medication today.

Well wishes, prayers, thoughts, and references to Gamecube-era classics are all welcomed.
 
This is Darwin, we adopted him last May. He's a total sweetheart with separation anxiety. He also does not realize how big he is, as he will try his hardest to be a lap dog.

The COVID movie binge continued tonight with Once (2007). Really charming, scrappy little indie musical. Super simple, super romantic through a shared love of music between the two leads, and an incredible original soundtrack to back it up.

I doubt any new games will be announced a cross gen because of this announcement. It's games are too far along in development to switch from being next-gen only to cross gen. However, I can see companies silently delaying and sitting on games until more next-gen consoles are in consumers' hands.

Yeah I doubt there will be more, but do think even a hint at a PS4 release for a Sony studio game will send people into hysteria.

Don't worry Sony will have to get more ps5s out in the wild to go with psvr2.
It's just that I think they will stockpile them and then send a load out to coincide with psvr2 launch so these are available.

That too but I really like seeing smaller developers try their hand at 3D action/adventure games which we usually only get from the big companies. Even if the game falls a bit flat, I appreciate the effort. Impossible Lair was really good just not that good that I'd miss a second one. And this isn't about 3D games being inherently superior to 2D ones either. Silksong and Earthblade are two of my most anticipated games and I'm admittedly a bit worried about SteamWorld Headhunter. I just thought that the first YL had a really strong foundation that just needed more time and polish.
