So Microsoft is not naming the four games that are coming to other platforms because the first one will be revealed in two hours in the Partner Showcase, right?
 
Yeah, now I get why Direct was delayed. This podcast is prerecorded and they literally say "we don't want the name the games". They are in the Direct. Direct cannot be before this.

It's certainly possible there is no direct at all, but this podcast was definitely hastily thrown together after all hell broke loose with the leaks, this was almost certainly not a planned podcast for this date until recently.

I feel like they read this topic, post their little teases, then scramble back here going "teeheehee teeheehee" to see our reactions to their non-announcements
 
I'm not sure if someone mentioned this or will mention this while I'm typing but one thing that stuck out to me from the beginning of the episode is that, they intended to do this later but due to the rumors, they had to bring it up to now AND that exclusivity didn't seem like it would be a major topic in the episode they were for the podcast. That does make me think, somewhat, that the Direct (in whatever format it does take) could have Xbox games and maybe they could've announced them before the actual date this podcast was meant for since they didn't feel like it was a big deal when they probably made the deal with Nintendo to include it.

I'm a little in the middle now where, originally, I did think maybe Xbox had to speak first before we started to see these announcements but maybe they didn't? Maybe they were going to give Nintendo the announcements to make first? Interesting, interesting!

You know, actually I see potential in this format. What if the Partner Showcase is Takahashi's voice, with PS music in the background, just saying: "Well, 4 third party games are coming to Nintendo Switch. Which ones?We are not telling. Go touch some grass". Fade to black.
