I like the upbeat theme of this one, many songs in the game have such a melancholic sway to them but this one carries the spirit of working together on something fun!

THQ Nordic games rarely appear on Directs, only one that did so far was Wreckfest.

Plus, I doubt this one will be a port heavy one. More remasters than straight ports. Especially from Square and Namco. Namco has just announced Tales of Arise coming to GP/PS Plus, wouldn't be surprising if we got a Tales remaster.

Honestly that would also be great to me. I would be there day 1 for a Tales of Xilia duology remaster.

Game Freak needs to do the right thing and announce Legends Unova. And then Nintendo announces Legends Unova as cross-gen 1 or 2 weeks after that. ;D
 
I would love Nintendo’s first tweet of the day to be something along the lines of

We are DIRECTLY PARTNERING with le creuset on a series of Animal Crossing based kitchen items

They did say 2pm CET iirc. So 1 hour and 5 minute from now.

However the Mini's/Partners were always in different times like these, it's never late Europe as for Generals (one one was 4pm in the Switch era and that was September 2022).
 
I'm expecting it to actually drop at 6/7am PT. That's usually when Directs get announced/dropped and that's the time the July (7am) and the September (6am) Partner Directs dropped.
 
Yeah I can't see any reason why it would drop earlier than usual, unless they put out an announcement tweet 1 hour ahead of time. I'm expecting we'll see it in the usual timeslot if it's happening today

Yep, makes sense.

The Mini's/Partners are always in this time slot (23:00 JST), basically the time when Generals are announced that's when the Mini's and Partners air. The Generals are airing 8-9 hours from that based on day light savings but Mini's and Partners are always 3pm CET.

This song plays in Trails From Zero at the most climatic moment of the game and it’s when all of your partners and friends help you overcome all of the obstacles in your way to reach the final dungeon and showdown. The song is hype as heck and even cooler as it is a riff on the normal battle theme.

Also, copy-pasting what I said on Era

To be more specific, the July 2020 Partner Showcase happened at 07:00 PST / 10:00 EST / 15:00 UTC / 16:00 CEST / 23:00 JT but that was still 11:00 in Brazil since, just like Japan, Daylight Savings Time is not observed in the country.

My first pick is one of my favorite Final Fantasy songs, Searching For Friends! It replaces the bleak overworld song from the World of Ruin once you have the second airship! This hopeful song points to the power of friendship you seek to reforge to challenge and defeat Kefka. Seems like a fitting start to the night as we barrel towards the seemingly all but officially confirmed Partner Showcase together!

7-8 hours to go! I’m excited to see what songs with the theme of partners and friends y’all pick :)
