Definitely ready to make a (cheesy) bingo card.

Tho I wouldn’t expect first party stuff to leak till 24 hrs till at most just cause Nintendo has sealed just about every avenue for leaks except marketing

Guys I love all the games that are being floated now but there's no way even a fifth of them will be in one direct. We might walk away with a lot of B/C tier franchises and some Gamecube remasters after all is said and done. Might be time to dial back the expectations before people get disappointed.

I feel like people are a little too hostile towards Zippo honestly. People get way too nasty about him when there are people who are far worse than him out there.
When he started mentioning Famiboards users in his blog posts he crossed the line. We should stop giving him any attention at all, a lot people suggested he should be banned source.

Mario Superstar Baseball is one of my all time favorite games. It was insanely fun and gave many Mario characters even more personality. DK punching baseballs instead of swinging a bat is never not funny.
Delfino’s cannon arm saving runs is never not top notch trolling!

Zippo. Lol. The leaker himself seems to be alluding to Mario RPG, not CT. He was only liking and responding to posts mentioning SMRPG.
I'm still catching up with this season's direct shenanigans. So this new twitter leaker is actually trustworthy?

Honestly, I'd be surprised if the SNES remake is anything but the teased FE4 remake.

Relatively, yeah. They've leaked surprising things in very specific ways before.

Late by a couple of hours but feel the need to drop in and say Mario Sluggers ruined the fledgling franchise before it could get started. It stood on the shoulder of a giant and shat on it.
I loved Mario Sluggers as a kid. I don’t get why fans of the GC game dislike it? Is it just the motion controls?

Hm if SMRPG and TYYD are both up for remaster/remakes I wonder if Nintendo is considering a new Mario RPG series, and wants these out to test the waters
Yeah I'm curious how much will be added for a complete addition. SMTV allegedly went through a fairly troubled development with a lot of cut content, so a "complete edition" could be pretty hefty.
Loved SMTV, so would be down for a new edition if it did include significant additions

Not super interested though if it's just a port to other platforms, the game's performance never bothered me

If there is gonna be a Direct, it better be on Wednesday cause it is my day off… I don’t want it to happen and my phone keep getting notifications but I can’t watch it :(

I guess something that's reassuring is that if the 2D Mario thing and SNES remake leak is true than for sure that means we have a General Direct and it's likely it'll be as meaty as the February 2022 Direct was considering how little we know of the year from this point.

The Feb 2022 Direct had Fire Emblem Warriors, Mario Strikers, Live A Live, Nintendo Switch Sports, Mario Kart Booster Pass, and Xenoblade 3. It had all of those while still having updates for Splatoon 3, and Kirby which were releasing that year.

As long as we get a couple new games, a couple ports and some stuff like Baten Kaitos and Megaton Musashi wired dated I’m happy
I just think every Nintendo fan on Earth is Bound to have a good time this week
Don’t lie, you want a port of the gamecube ultimate muscle game

how funny would it be if the everybody 1-2 switch leak with the may/september question was a hint towards the next direct date

Was working all day, could someone tell me what's up about a somewhat reliable leaker saying something? Or any other nuggets from today? I scrolled back a few pages but couldn't find the source of stuff

Feb 2022 was one of the best Directs ever, yeah. The line up never was this diverse

Does Zippo actually have inside sources? Is he not doing the exact same thing as SamusHunter?

(I don't actually know because I don't follow stuff Zippo says at all)
Zippo’s very first leak I remember was Metroid Dread. He was the first to say hands down that it was a new 2D game and not a remake. Other insiders seemed in the know that MS was making it, but some thought a Super remake. Definitely remember Zippo leading the charge there about a year before Dread’s reveal.

He also knew Paper Mario in 2019. Though he did say return to form, but honestly there are aspects of Origami king that on paper could look like that despite the game obviously not returning to TTYD style, so I give him the benefit of the doubt there. He really was just one of us at one point, a NintendoERA member who enjoyed getting excited for directs and speculating with the community. I do think he has connections and didn’t start with bad intentions, though he’s kinda run away with it at this point and clearly went too far.

When is the direct supposed to be announced, tomorrow?
If it's a General Direct, yes, tomorrow. If it's a smaller Direct, those have been dropped without announcement. People expect a Direct of some kind to happen on Wednesday. All dates will depend on your time zone; I've answered as someone in the United States.

I will literally buy 5 copies of Diddy Kong Racing DS if Diddy is revealed for MK8 this week... and donate them to strangers in Ohio

And if TTYD HD is shown, I'll give someone here my second copy of the gamecube version

Last one was Takahashi, this one is Koizumi. Besides E3 2021, it’s always changing between these two
Feb 2021 was also Takahashi after that long break despite being the host in Sep 2019. But yeah, they are changing between these two. The Feb 2021 hiccup was due to Koizumi having barber appointment.

2D Metroid was rumored after Samus Returns came out, it wasn't his rumor. Paper Mario is easy to guess, there's one every few years.
