My main purchases this month will probably be knights of the old republic and shining pearl. I’ll keep an eye on some sales but I don’t want to go crazy on purchases this time
 
Should I finally work towards attempting the super boss in Octopath Traveler because that's something I never did since it seemed to be incredibly grindy and tedious at the time but now I am kind of thinking about doing it anyway, y/n.

I'm convinced Mario Strikers, as we all know it, is long dead. Even if the series comes back, I feel it will be a shell of its former self

If they can get a native version anywhere near the quality of Dying Light 1 on the Switch I would be hyped.

I've got this pre-ordered which I don't normally do. I hope it runs well, I haven't played it for over 10 years so looking forward to getting back into it.

Yeah I hope kotor is done well on switch. I still have my Xbox disc copy but I’m excited for the switch version

On the subject of trick or treaters, both of my boyfriends spent about an hour or two yesterday making little goodie bags of candy to pass out tonight (filled with like, fun sized Skittles and Starbursts, chocolate coins, Warheads and some assorted Mexican candy). They made about 40 of them.

We still have like 32 of them left. We got basically one trick or treaters, and one of my boyfriend's nephew brought his kids by to get some. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have to issue a small correction: they made around 70 little candy bags, meaning we have about 62 left. Even with one of my boyfriends taking about ten to work today, we'll still have candy for weeks.

That's what I thought as well, I don't see a reason why they would have different editions named without having the Cloud label on it if it's not a native version. Would be interesting to see if they somehow other BOTH cloud and a downgraded native version as an option.

As long as they polish it as much as DL1 I'm good with it, obviously Dying Light 2 would be a FAR more difficult job and would look quite a bit worse since they don't have a last-gen version to base it on this time around, but they earned my trust.
 
I plan on buying KOTOR before long, out of love for the game, but also to encourage the release of KOTOR 2 - preferably the patched and restored version.

Nah, I don't believe it. Cloud versions don't have local distributors, it's basically PC versions run from local Ubitus servers. There's one n Taiwan, iirc, not HK.

That's pretty much given, I'm sure that Aspyr is doing the finishing touches on KOTOR2 remaster on Switch right now, to be released next year.

I also expect them to bring:
Battlefront 2 (2005)
Force Unleashed 1-2
Battle of Naboo
Jedi Starfighter 1-2

...and maybe Halo MCC?

The studio who was doing Star Wars 1313, Namco Singapore, started on Metroid Prime 4 after the cancellation. Now they lost that one too, wonder what they are up to?

I just gotta say what a fantastic ST @Derachi and the Subway SMT joke caught me off guard in a good way lmao.

I loved how used the same SMT font lol.
 
Gonna start my third island in Animal Crossing today so I have all the basic first week stuff done by the time the update and expansion drop on Friday.
After I put up my Christmas lights, of course.
 
I just realized that the Zelda Game & Watch releases next week. Looks like I am getting a new video game in November!

Give yourself like three tries? I never beat the secret boss myself solely because the grind of killing eight bosses to even attempt it again totally stopped me from pushing through.
 
I'm really curious about the sales of Mario Golf Super Rush. I have a thread drafted up about the larger Mario sports subseries but I wanna wait for the sales report before I throw oil on the fire post it.
 
Doing up a Christmas list for my girlfriend (because I am admittedly near-impossible to shop for) and I’m now realizing that the majority of the things on my list are books. When did I become a Book Guy!? Honestly, I think it’s when I moved into a house with a patio. Patios? Perfect for reading books!

I was half joking, because all it took me to nope out was to read up on it and the prerequisites again. The party is nowhere close to being leveled up enough either, so… Maybe some day but probably never.

Do I get the cool yellow pulse-line badge for starting ST2? Or do I need to make a brand new ST that isn’t a continuation of ST1?
 
So we get SMTV reviews and financials on Thursday? Not a bad way to start the month. Although it is a shame we won’t get October results with it, waiting until February for those is going to be a long time

Also, Succession season 3 has been crushing it so far, Squid Game is pretty compelling 4 episodes in, and Curb Your Enthusiasm season 11 has been very spotty after these first 2 episodes.

Looking forward to catching Last Night in Soho and No Time to Die in the next week or two.

Lastly, I’d like to take a minute to thank… well, you. Yeah, you, reading this. Look: life can be a lot. We all come from around the world, with our own problems, stresses, and struggles. I don’t need to explain that the last 20-ish months have been particularly rough for a lot of people. I’ve considered myself very lucky to have this group of people, in this thread right now, to be there. A group I don’t hesitate to call my friends. There’s a socially therapeutic benefit to digitally shooting the breeze, and I don’t think I’m alone when I say this group of people has been a monumentally positive influence to my mental wellbeing.
