I’m feeling Wednesday is the day this week, but I want it to be Tuesday. I’m definitely checking every day at 6:00 AM for the morning tweet/announcement.
 
Full disclosure: I joined Team January not because I expect a General Direct in January; rather, I expect a TotK Direct in January and no significant Direct in February. So I just voted for Team January because I figure it will have something, while February has nothing.

To my fellow members of #TeamJanuary, I beg you: please do not hate me simply because I am different. We share the same ideals; I simply exercise them in a different way.

You are forgiven, but in my opinion, a TotK Direct in January is a bit less likely than a General Direct. Ye have very much faith.

Well I know for past directs, people having an appointment of some sort would be an "indicator" that the direct will be that day (tho tbh I don't think it ever lined up lol), well I will have to actually leave my house for work this week from Tuesday to Thursday rather than the usual wfh and would not be able to watch the direct live because of it if it actually ends up being this week. Let's see if this line of thinking and coincidence actually lines up this time or not :p

I just feel that it’s time. It’s time to see Tears of the Kingdom… in a complete blowout.

Regardless, I am happy to fight for the team and stand on the front lines with you. The specifics around our beliefs may not align completely, but I feel we share the same drive, passion, and spirit.

January Zelda makes even less sense than General at this point.

I definitely agree that it's time for some sort of TotK blowout but there's no way they do a dedicated direct 4 months before launch. I think a full story trailer in a general direct and maybe a treehouse stream would make more sense for this month/next month

For the 2nd Mario Movie trailer, I left therapy 5 minutes early so I wouldn't miss anything live 👍

That would be impressive. I really doubt they'd put the two that close together if they're going to do one of each, but I admire your pessimism!

Do we have any new rumor?
After Xbox Direct announcement yesterday, I think that if the general will be in January than this is the week.
But tbh I’m not feeling it now… have they ever done a direct a week before a big release?

Yeah you're probably right.

That said, we didn't even have an June general direct last year. Also the Splatoon 3 direct was pretty close to the general direct, so I wouldn't rule out March 14th/April 11th for the two.
