Honestly joke or not, I would expect Nintendo to Eclipse Canon someone regardless of what the individual leaks. This if you're gonna leak anything you may as well just go for it at least imo. Lol

Gawd I really hope Nintendo doesn't get cute with the Switch successor's name. Assuming it has a similar form factor to the current Switch, just call it Switch 2. Keep it simple, make it easy for everyone to understand that it's the successor to the Switch.

Are you from / residing in Karachi? I used to live there years ago as an American when I was 10 / 11 years old. I had of my best friends from my childhood there.

The debacle of the WiiU and 3DS launches should have shut down any ideas that Nintendo has again of being cute with the name. Nintendo has no other pillar to fall back on, they can't afford the Switch successor have a slow start due to consumers being unsure of it's a new console, a revised console, or an accessory for the old console.

afaik the only brand that has ever numbered their consoles like that is playstation
 
The switch successor is going to be called: Switch Next
This is not a prediction btw, I'm from the future so I already know the name for the next Switch so don't be surprised when later this year they announce the name and you come back to this post.

Wii U eshop will close on March, that means it will no longer be possible to officially buy Twilight Princess HD, Wind Waker HD and Xenoblade Chronicles X.

My 2023 prediction is that it will still be possible to buy them, the last Wii U ports are coming!

I would lose my mind. I hope Infinite is shown off here. If this is supposed to be a big xbox event, I would like to see more about Infinite's future beyond just season 3. I know it's doing better than before, but still.

Many virtual console games will also disappear sadly

Funnily enough, I decided to purchase Metroid Prime Trilogy that way in summer 2021. I remember doubting on whether to buy it or not, given the rumours at the time too of a remaster coming soon. I made the right decision in hindsight haha. Still have to play Prime 3 sometime though

Nah, I'm not even Pakistani haha. I had that place on my bucket list of places to visit in Pakistan if I ever go.

People joke about Kirby Warriors but it's something I'd unironically like to play. And I'm not even into Warriors games.
