Everyone should get into Silksong speculation, it's like Direct speculation but with like, 10% the satisfaction and actual information, plus like, 200% of the uncertainty, because it's an independent Australian studio whose major announcements have come in the form of:
  • An announcement the day after a Direct
  • A sizzle reel and Treehouse segment at E3
  • Next week in game magazines
  • Some riddles the marketing guy did on a whim
  • A major Xbox presentation
  • Literally just a random Playstation news update

Don't think Nintendo cares. They have contractual obligations to third party reveals in the Direct. If they were happened before Nintendo picked a date for its own games, Direct still would happen.

Well I'm not sure a remaster of a Wii Kirby game is that important for Nintendo. We get between two to five Kirby games PER YEAR.

for trademark and general branding reasons it's a non-starter but I always thought Super Duper Mario Bros would be a funny title
 
I just want to see the amazing Metroid Prime game already. Just knowing how truly great it is makes the wait for the announcement hard, especially when we’ve been going years with rumors on it.

Truth is, I’d expect far less of the game had it not leaked. Kind of an unfortunate side effect of the rumors, and how long they’ve been in circulation.

One person says this week is something another says they haven’t heard anything. Nothing Monday as it’s a Japanese holiday.

I’m feeling this week personally is something, but that’s regardless of the above.

About the leaks made by Nintenleaks

While at times we have had access to inside information, the vast majority of the time it is our opinions based on how the industry and its rumors behave.
The case of the Nintendo Switch Oled Edicion of Splatoon 3 was something that was not hard to predict due to Nintendo's tendency to release 2-3 Switch editions a year, plus the success it would have in Japan due to the popularity of the franchise.
Don't take my colleagues' tweets, or mine, as leaks, please.
