We essentially have two parties, both right-wing, one's just way further to the right than the other one is, and vilifies the other side for being "too far left" even though it's not remotely left by real global standards.

Honestly I don’t see any reason to be angry at DF per se, yes some console war idiots use their videos to bash games, but their reviews often emphasize the qualities of a game, even when it doesn't run well. John Linneman in particular seems to really appreciate the work that studios do to get games onto a hardware as limited as the Switch. You get the sense that they are video game fans before they are tech fans.

I'm gonna be honest here, Switch is the first console I played this many locked 30fps games on. That never was a thing. I don't remember any brand new PS3/360 game without serious drops and I was perfectly ok with it. It was always like this, not just PS4, PS3 and even PS2. New games push the system limits, especially late in consoles life. And yes I'm saying here, Switch fared much better than any of those.
Yeah the camera is a bit odd. Feels much closer to Bayo then it should be, it's very hard at times to see around the character or a summon.
Have you tried messing with the camera option in the menu already? You can adjust the camera so that it pulls farther back from the character and get a fuller view of the field. Might not solve the problem entirely, but I wanted to point out that option since a few folks seem to miss this is included as an option.

For what it's worth, I feel like 3 has probably the weakest story of the trilogy - BUT, Chapter 3 is also where it really starts to pick up, especially with great character moments. Late Chapter 3 and the middle section is the strongest part of the game, so I'd say to keep going a bit and see if you like it!
