I'm in a family re-union in the Dominican Republic.

So I honestly didn't know as I barely had access to the Internet or stable WiFi (or time to use it).

"Registered user" just means "someone with an account", which you qualify as. Maybe if you can't read some hidden text try replying in that thread.

Of course, you're still welcome to support the site financially and it will be greatly appreciated but there is no expectation to and no ~special benefits~ so to speak

Spread the word around. We can't just have veterans from ResetEra. Maybe some other people that fit well with us here.

Frankly though?

I'm not the biggest video game player here.

I probably play 3 to maybe 5 video games a year at most since I've come back to it from my hiatus (throughout most of the years of 2011 to 2019, I didn't play video games, or barely did, even if I kept up with the industry news here and there).

It's only from 2020 that I start to slowly play video games again, play them more than an hour or two, and actually complete them, but even then, I don't always keep up with this stuff.

Ultimately: I came here because it was actually leftist or leftwing (and so better than the gaming communities out there that lean right-wing because that seems to be the alternative) and because it's pretty chill.

So of course, the sites that I go to don't mention games or Nintendo or what not and, with the little time that I had and scanty Wifi/Internet access, I didn't know that there was an upcoming Direct.

But there being a Nintendo Direct during a vacation is pretty sweet.

hey, same, honestly

didn’t play games between like 2010 and 2018 and now I’m intrigued again

I definitely had a big “I want to try everything” phase, but I only really get in depth with a handful each year

I’m very curious about games, and excited to finally be working on my own

but I doubt I’m a canon “gamer,” lol
 
The next Direct speculation thread can wait a while, like… January.

I'll probably have it as background noise as usual and get disappointed when it's the usual bunch of nothing
 
God I hate dealing with this carpal tunnel nonsense, just want to play something. I do hope anything NSO related isn’t shadow dropped tomorrow or anything else really

This is from the pizza place near my job. With the night courses I taught for the last two semesters, I became a regular there. This semester though, we're here for the lunch rush (I say as its mostly empty in here). It's pretty good stuff. A little light on the sauce but still quite delicious. Can't beat the pizza places in my old neighborhood, though! So glad my partner still lives around there.

Yes and no. Their big events are called "Showcases", like the one we got last September. And most SoPs are pretty medium IMO but the recent SoP this June was pretty beefy, so who knows

I dunno, the last couple of times they've basically been Nintendo Direct Blue Edition because of the number of multiplatform titles that get shown :)
