I played Diamond so much as a kid the money for BDSP left my wallet immediately when they were announced.

Story time:
partially due to me being a dumb kid at the time, I got "stuck" in my first playthrough of ruby, because I couldn't beat watson, I ran out of money and couldn't get my Swellow out of the day care which was the only pokemon I had taught rock smash too and could beat any of watson's pokemon. I'd like to think I've improved since then.

As a person who's incredibly nostalgic towards the Sinnoh region I have to buy BDSP even if there are certain things I'm disappointed with in regards to the remake. Gen 4 is my favorite and is what got me into Pokemon so Imma buy it lol.

Well obviously they'll just show the reveal trailers of EPD Donkey Kong and Metroid Prime 4 back-to-back ala Astral Chain/Link's Awakening.

If you can speak fluent Japanese, can we communicate in Japanese because my English is not good enough to communicate the context?

I've read the manga and it's one of my favorite series lol. I'm excited about the next season especially with Ufotable's animation plus the next arc is fantastic.

So yea you could say I'm a stan lmao.

Is it weird that I'm interested in both Arceus and Brilliant Diamond despite not being interested in Sword/Shield and Let's Go? Sword/Shield in particular is just.... bleh.

Random, but I was listening to the Axe of the Blood God podcast ranking the Tales games due to Arise coming out, and it reminded me just how STACKED the voice cast was for Tales of Symphonia. I had forgotten half of the people that were in that, it's kind of amazing looking back that they were all in the same video game
 
Also @Ozzie I know you worry about handheld performance and for good reasons, but going by Japanese previews for SMT V it seems like performance is really stable. People were surprised by the time they were done with the demo. Although I'm not sure if they meant docked or handheld still considering that the Team said one of their main priority is handheld I imagine if docked is stable so should the handheld. This won't be a Xenoblade 2 situation lol.

Positive impressions on the demo they played.

That certainly sounds promising. I know it won't be Xenoblade 2, that game had a unfortunate unique development. If it's at least like Dragon Quest XI which depsite running at 540pish in handheld mode, it still looked amazing.

Regardless, I'm genuinely excited for SMTV, it's going to something special.

That reminds me I have to fully dive into Tales of Arise because I've been side tracked by my backlog.

The little I've played has been fun.

I'm over halfway through (I think?) and it's been mixed for me. Mostly good and fun, but I have some issues with how the story and pacing is done. Combat is fun and environments are pretty though!

日本語と英語、両方で書いてみますね。

日本語を勉強している外国人にとって、確かに「"ボーズ"は"bose”であって"boards"ではない」と考えるのは理解できます。
"s"が最後につくと"ズ"だから"ボードズ"というイメージかもしれないですね。
しかし、異なる英語が同じカタカナになることはよくあることです。
"ボーズ"は"bose"であり"boards"でもあるのです。

For a foreigner studying Japanese, it is understandable to think that "ボーズ" is "bose", not "boards".
The "s" at the end of the word is "ズ", so they may think "ボードズ".
However, it is quite common for different English words to have the same katakana.
"ボーズ" is both "bose" and "boards".
For example, "sauce" and "source" are both "ソース".
And "goods" is "グッズ", not "グッドズ".
Therefore, the correct Japanese word that retains the plural form is "ボーズ".
I don't think there is a single Japanese person who pronounces "boards" as "ボードズ" instead of "ボーズ".
However, it is not hard to understand why you feel uncomfortable pronouncing "boards" as "ボーズ".
So It's okay even if "ファミボード"!
