Is the cartridge on the fall update a switch cartridge?

Omg it totally is! Maybe the micro SD is hinting at the game not fitting on a card and requiring download lmfao

EDIT: oh I see the lock now, yeah just an SD

This is Miyamoto. Almost 7 years ago I said that Pikmin 4 is very close to completion and we haven't give you many updates since, if any. My deepest apologies but I promise it will be well worth the wait.

This should have been the tweet damn it.

6 weeks..

I'm struggling so hard right now, so much awful shit is happening that I might go nuts.

Sometimes it feels like the only thing taking me through the days is the prospect of a BotW2 blowout.
Sorry to hear, I’m struggling with finding better employment and working my current job for long hours and little pay.

But So far I have my optimism and I cheer myself up with funny pictures of our dogs.

Like this one:

Rex Booty rest.

Gameplay preview of Bear and Breakfast, still no updated release date 🙃

To its credit, it does look really well done with polish, animation and story so I sincerely hope that if/when there's an Indie Direct it'll be released soon if not a shadowdrop

Are people just trying not to get their hopes up about an SD card and microSD card? That looks like a Switch cartridge to me.

Least of all, what other console uses microSD card (let alone SD cards) to load games? Android phones? Can anything short of a Galaxy S21+ even run Sifu?

If you look close it’s an SD card or micro SD adapter. Even has the little gray lock switch on the side. Plus there is a little beveled edge on the bottom left, which the switch cards don’t have. That update has a replay editor, so I think it’s just a way to say you have to save things or there is an added in game camera since there is film strips. That’s how I see it at least.

This game looks and feels absolutely amazing, a tycoon game with talking animals has always been a dream game for me (closest we got was SimAnimals on Wii but animals did not talk there and it was an awful game)

I want these guys to do a 2D The Sims clone but with bears. Just bears.

Ahh, now I see the beveled edge people are talking about. Expanding on it with the replay editor I suppose makes sense, but I dunno, the colour scheme in particular very much feels intentional as a Switch cartridge. Really, only thing that would make a difference is if the console exclusivity contract is longer than six months. I suppose it makes sense to not let hype go insane but it'll be cool if it did make its way to Switch

E: @MissingNo. to the rescue making sure my eyes can't be deceived any further 😋

It has also sold more than any JRPG franchise not named Pokemon,DQ or FF
Totally. Interesting thing is that in context with the exception of pokemon, no entry, not including rereleases, in the FF and DQ series have reach 15 mil. Which shows how the market for jrpg still is.

- TES potential 4x strategy game
They really saw Triangle Strategy and attempt to top it with Oblivion: Rectangle Strategy, smh.

Those Bethesda rumours just reminded me that they have an Indiana Jones game in development and how I would like to see some sort of footage of it.

Then I remembered that we are still waiting for Starfield gameplay, smh.

They will end up delaying it anyway.

Indiana Jones it’s rumored to be a 2024 title, It’s being made Machine Games the devs of Wolfenstein not Bethesda Software (the developer company) so it shouldnt take a decade to release .

I knew Machine Games were the ones developing it, but this is the first time I heard that it is rumoured to be a '24 release. Even so, it will likely still be more than a year before we see any of it.

Someone said that they remember when people made fun of the Wii U, but they don't remember people calling for Nintendo to go software only at that time.

Not to be rude, but was that person living under a rock between 2013-16?

If I had to guess, they're working on Morrowind and Fallout 3. Only question is if they're Xbox exclusives. These games were already on other consoles so they don't make sense as exclusives IMO.
MS does own Bethesda fully now, but MS might at least want some of the Nintendo audience. The real question is what engine these games will run on.

I'm not sure how remasters normally work, but wouldn't they just emulate or transfer the original game? If these are actual remasters and not remakes anyway.

My guess would be Arena, Daggerfall and Morrowind for the ES Collection and Fallout 1-2-Tactics for the Fallout Collection. Should be multiplatform, Interplay could publish them on other platforms. After all they were the original Fallout publisher.

Though I can't help but think that Nightdive would have been much better studio to handle the remasters of Arena and Daggerfall.
