Not the poster, but I haven't played League of Legends or anything relating to it. The series made me want to. It's that good.

Same as Mekanos and Magic-Man I haven't played LoL and still enjoyed Arcane a lot. Based on what I've read it seems to be rather loosely based on the game's lore.

Like those above who mentioned, Valheim would be absolutely great get for Switch.

Additionally, while it's still early access, I think Power Wash Simulator would be absolutely perfect for Switch if only for the compination of gyro controls and still having access to twin stick control. Right joystick for camera, and using right joycon for aiming and spraying water. Currently camera is tied to where you aim and I feel like I get a little seasick if I play with a mouse but then if I use my Xbox controller on PC it's not nearly responsive enough.

But given that both Valheim and PWS are both early access (Valheim admittedly at least closer to its v1.0 release), it's tough to see either get announced at this Indie Direct. I think it's mostly going to be a bunch of unknowns both in terms of IPs and developers.

Tunic is Xbox exclusive for an unknown amount of time, so I don't think we'll see it for another six months at the earliest.

I've always thought his suit was pretty form fitting for someone that is not really physically active, but it really seems Kazuya Nuri made him fitter (not that I'm complaining 😉)

Well looks like this power outage is going to last for 2 hours or so. Wind is bad enough to knockout the lines and it’s snowing(so in the 30’s) out there. Looks like 5 is the estimate. Thank goodness I have a charger for my phone, my stove is gas, a lamp and my 2ds is charged
 
Had a nice day overall. Don’t think I’ll play more Xenoblade this evening, kind of tired if anything. Don’t feel like playing

Seriously, the only.. and I mean only reason I got interested in following the development of the next Switch (the Future Hardware thread was one of the things that hooked me on ERA), was because of the thought that it might release with a Zelda-themed edition alongside BotW2, with something like a new gold controller or something. Otherwise I can wait, but if there's a new gold-trimmed Switch or Pro Controller or something like that coming, I need to be on that pre-order.

That's not really what your point was, but.. ya know, triggers. 😅
 
On one hand, fuck yeah Kingdom Hearts 4. On the other, will America still be a functioning democracy by then and I'll be too worried about arming myself from evangelical christian fanatics. Hmm.

The evangelical Christian fanatics I know (who are also politically Q-ish), are such KH fanatics that if American democracy crumbles, our opponents might be wielding keyblades. 😅
So, like, practice might be justification for buying vidyagames soon. Silver linings!! 👍

While this might be true, this new revision would definitely launch alongside Pokémon and Xenoblade.

New 3DS launched with Xeno 1 port to show off its capabilities, New Switch launching with Xeno 3 would be just a pretty way of history repeating itself. Sure Xeno 3 will also be for base Switch but Nintendo would sweeten the deal of getting a New Switch by having Xeno 3 at native res at 60 fps on handheld.

Pokémon? Every new gen of pokémon launches with a special hardware of a new console. Not controller like Zelda, but the whole console. BW got special DSi and Sun & Moon got a special New 3DS XL. It's time for Scarlet and Violet to do the same.

I forget if it was Jeff Fowler or Jim himself but one of them said Robotnik had actual lines in the first Sonic but in the sequel they didn't even bother, to the point where Jim was asking why they didn't write him anything and Fowler would just tell him "last time you always just went off on your own, so we figured you'd do the same thing this time."

I wonder if there's truth to that old meme of there being sections of the scripts in his career that literally just said "Jim Carrey proceeds to act like Jim Carrey."

Picked up 13 Sentinels first thing this morning and just took it for a spin!

The presentation is excellent, with no signs so far of a compromised port. The hand-painted artwork is clean and lovely, the battle sections are crisp, and performance and load times are snappy.

The combination of punchy sound effects and nice visual feedback makes attacking the enemies feel very satisfying, and as a kaiju fan, feeling like I'm playing out a scene from Pacific Rim is a treat. The music deserves a mention as well, with some great tunes to set the mood.

It's early days, but so far I'm liking it a lot! :)

I am on chapter 7 on Xenoblade chronicles 2 currently

And just know this... it gets better and better. In fact, the prologue chapters that you're probably are on right now are easily the slowest and least interesting in the game. I won't say anything more. Enjoy the ride. 👍
 
TBH the new building is a way more exciting business move than a typical acquisition because where an acquisition means that existing company’s games will only appear in one place, this just means Nintendo is going to multiply their output. This means we’re just going to get more first party Nintendo games. And that’s way better than them locking up a third party.
