What is the best (non-Kirby) Kirby franchise main character?

Come down with a smaller headache compared to the usual ones. This one was probably caused by wearing my glasses for the first time in a while and my eyes definitely took a hit.

Going away quicker so all should be good this evening hopefully

That's great. Can imagine you're always busy especially with Spring now being here. I'd love to see what your studio has produced. I am a film director based in Massachusetts. Currently, I'm writing a feature script to pitch/fund, organizing a sample short film of the project to accompany the marketing, scheduling early meetings with potential producers. while simultaneously directing other projects as a director-for-hire in the New England area.

Glad to see there's another filmmaker on Famiboards!

That's amazing!!! Huge congrats to you, I'd love to get a sneak peek of the feature or short film if you'd feel comfortable haha. The studio I work at specializes in high-school comedies, so if your script happens to belong to that subgenre, we should take a look lol. Also, we're in active development and packaging actors and a director to a script I wrote which is super exciting, with the aim being to go into production in H1 2023 (our summer and fall 2022 slate is spoken for already). We've already attached a Disney Channel star to the lead role, as well as her production company coming onboard to produce. So excited to see where we both are in a few months' time!
 
Square better hurry up and release the Pixel Remasters on Switch pronto.

And they better do not drip-feed them, because I have this desire to replay FF6 and it keeps getting worse every day.

This made me remeber that during the first year and half/two years Wii U got third party support and it was amazing being able to play on the gamepad these games for me (I have great memories of playing AC Black Flag on gamepad mode) so my family could watch TV at the same time (I live in a small apartment so we don’t have space for multiple tvs) .
 
Wii U got Deus Ex, Mass Effect, Batman, Call of Duty and Tekken;

Switch is really lagging behind! /s

(From those I really care about Tekken, maybe Batman...)

I'd buy day one all if they're released on Switch!

Likeliest one is Batman, it's already leaked to be coming.
CoD can only happen if MS pushes for it. They teased at least.
Tekken, I'm not sure. Namco has been treating Switch as a children's platform so far, only exception being Dark Souls. Hoping that Tekken Memorial is an actual game release...

Got some blood taken today and had a debilitating headache for most of the day. Not sure if those two things are related but I'm gonna try to keep my blood inside my body from now on.
 
So, the new Kirby game was leaked online.

HAL may or may not have left reference to an unannounced Kirby product in the files. Again.

EDIT: Not actually 100% sure that this is legit yet. Take it with a grain of salt before we get some additional confirmation.

Don't worry about that! It took a long a while for Klonoa Encore materialize to an actual game, so naturally we'll be getting something out of that Splatterhouse Encore trademark eventually! (Which I suspect would be the 360/PS3 game re-released)

If they were to add games to the dream collection, Kirby’s Air Ride, Amazing Mirror, and Robobot are the three I want most.

Not gonna lie, I want the next "Encore" game to be Ace Combat or Ridge Racer rather than Tekken or Splatterhouse. I've been spoiled with portable entries of those series on PSP and 3DS and I need more. I'd drool over Ace Combat PS2 HD collection or Ridge Racer 6 or 7 Encore.

Also Soul Calibur III needs to return.

Can understand that. That smaller one I had today was a nice change from the all day ones
 
Ah, the Wii U.
It was such a letdown for me after loving the Wii, and the droughts were horrible, yet I cannot deny I loved games like BOTW, Bayonetta 2, Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, 3D World, Captain Toad, Black Ops II, Fatal Frame 5, etc on it.

It was such a terrible concept, and it's completely understandable that it flopped in sales. It was a dark age for Nintendo that I never wish to return to. And still, I cannot bring myself to hate it, because for all its faults I did have some great times with it.

It went down in flames, taking a whole era of Nintendo with it, so that the Switch could rise like a phoenix from the ashes, and usher in a better future.

In any case I do think another Kirby release for the 30th anniversary is very possible. And if it did exist, HAL and Nintendo would definitely wait until after Forgotten Land was out to reveal it.

Yeah, a remaster collection of some of the Wii/DS/3DS Kirby games would be most welcome, and it would give them another all-ages title besides PokΓ©mon in a fall that seems like it’s going to be focused mostly on Zelda, Xenoblade, and perhaps Bayonetta and Metroid Prime.
