What was your favorite scene from the film? Mine was easily the interrogation between Batman and Riddler in prison. The tension of thinking he figured out Bruce's identity to the realization he didn't and was truly delusional was superb.
my favorite scene was actually the beginning scene with the narration and me the scenery that Batman has made people afraid of dark alley ways he may or may not be.

But I also love the scene with the Flare at the end. Movie has some pretty great Cinematography. Nice to see in a superhero film where it’s rare now a days

We went from Kirby to the Cars film franchise. What a downgrade in topics. 😤
I agree, and I'm a total gearhead. So uh.. here:

I like the first Cars movie because I watched it when I was 6, okay?
I like the first Cars movie because I grew up roadtripping the western US with my dad, and the movie really does a good job of capturing the nostalgic feel of old, abandoned Route 66 towns. The landscapes were nostalgic to me because they resembled a lot of what I saw growing up on those trips. Plus Paul Newman voiced Doc Hudson (based on an old car with actual racing pedigree), and Newman himself was a major car fanatic and actual race driver. That movie was legitimate good stuff.

And then Mater and LtCG became the new face of Pixar for fucking years and that being the major cultural takeaway from that movie just saddens me.

Minor patch for Mario Party Superstars.

At least they're still making adjustments to it! Hopefully a prelude to new content in the future.
It makes too much sense to have boards/characters be added to NSO expansion pass. Not sure if they will add more games, but that would be nice.

I too did road trips in the western US with my dad. He grew up by Devil’s Tower, so we always went to Wyoming and South Dakota and then looped around on the way back. Nothing better than a road trip in west of the Great Plains.

I just got a new OLED TV (the OLED Switch is what finally pushed me over the edge) and I'm currently obsessing over how Nintendo games look on it, I can't WAIT for Kirby.

Edit: That DLSS Switch can't come soon enough either...

My next tv is gonna be an OLED, too. I took my dad to Best Buy to look at them and even he could tell the difference and really liked it, so I know I'm not crazy. 😅

I'm glad the Switch finally has Groups so people can pretend like they are organized for a brief moment in time before reverting back to the messy gamer slobs that they truly are.

Another season of Super Mega Baseball 3 done and dusted. This is where I normally lie to myself and say it'll be a few weeks before I start another season, knowing it'll be a few days, if even that.

I want to give this game a go but $45 just seems excessive for me. I already play two baseball games too with The Show and OOTP

TIL this is coming to Switch this year and it looks amazing.

Yet another 2022 title to add to my purchase list. This year is just batshit insane, I may well end up buying more games for Switch than I have for any other system in any other year ever.

Made it to the third route split on 999 firing it up for the first time today, having a blast but need to sleep

Not sure if this has been discussed but Bluetooth audio is MUCH louder after the recent update. I used to have to have it on almost full volume the whole time and now it's the same volume on less than 50%. They did mention it's improved on some devices and I'm using Samsung Galaxy Buds 2, hopefully it's improved for other devices as well!

Underrated gem.

I built myself Warhammer Old World fantasy league with custom teams and have clocked couple of hundred hours on that now.

Mario Kart 8 DX is a game I've completely taken for granted over the last few years. Actually getting triple stars in Mirror Mode (and later, 200cc) is really making me appreciate the game again.

Does make me wonder what the future holds for Kart though, post Booster Pass.

Was missing like 10$ to get free shipping, didnt find a Switch game to add so I browsed xbox games.. it's cheap living to be an Xbox player.
Now I wasnt gonna get most of these games anyway but cant deny it's quality titles for a great price (swedish retailer)

Control - 5$
Mass Effect LE - 15$
A Plage Tale - 10$
Ace Combat 7 - 2$
Valkyria Chronicles 4 - 5$

Kirby reviews looks good, but everyone points out the "minimal challenge" which is a bit of a letdown. It's like with Crafted World, why bother putting two difficulty modes if the hardest one is very easy ? Also, does Nintendo really need two easy platformer series ?

Here’s a car with teeth

still not human teeth nor a car

the cars in the movie cars are not cars but instead an offshoot species of post-nuclear hog-cockroach mutant which rose to mock humanity, to live our paltry lives in jest

despite their crunchy exoskeletons and predator build, they are destined for ruin. they run in the path of our light.

and hey, with all that spicy irradiated hog dna, they’re certain to d̸͈͗̐͋i̷̹̘̼̍é̴͖̫̿ ̸̜̰̓ĺ̴̳̳̝ḯ̶̼̊̕k̸̤͂ẽ̵̱͌̎ ̷̝̝͝p̴̛̭̝i̷̡̫̪͋g̶̥̖̟͋̆s̶̝̱̅̕

Nintendo makes games for kids.

Kirby has always been about accessibility saving the challenges for 100% the game through item collection and side modes
