I found out long ago...
it's a long way down the treasure road.
Treasure rooooooooooooooooooooad.
Treasure roooooooooooooooad.

How did the Outer Worlds port end up? I know it was poor at first but then they started patching it, is it in a worth while state now to pick up?

Not great but playable. I finished it and enjoyed the game for what it was and being able to play portable was nice. If you don't mind spending a few hours sitting down on a couch/chair, get it for another console(Gamepass).

Just was at Walmart and the price tag on the Kirby slot shows it at full price. Let’s hope it’s a one off because triangle strategy is $10 off (though the new life is strange also is full price).

I think the $10 discount only kicks in once the game has launched, no?

No, this is the empty slot for when they stick the game. It says $59.88. So this won’t be in the usual sale I don’t imagine (though things could change later on). I usually scope out the game sections since Walmart clearance stuff at random and also to check out the upcoming game prices. Quite frequently they will clear space for the new releases in the upper left corner and put the price tag about a week in advance.

Guys guys guys!
I don't know If you are aware of it but this week is Kirby week.

still can't believe a kirby game is coming out in a few days and it looks this good

3D World vibes certainly.

Slightly ominous though was that bit where it looks like there was some aiming and that aiming kind of looked a bit gyro-less. Can't be sure though so we'll see.

As a massive Rune Factory fan… I say get Kirby first, because down the line RF5 will get a discount. I’m planning to do that, but I’m kind of considering buying RF5 full price to throw in my support for the series. Hmmm.
Unless you prefer having a physical copy in which case I would say get RF5 first because knowing XSEED copies for that will be limited.

The DS games of Gen 4 and 5 definitely make up my favourite Pokémon era but I will always have a soft spot for the Gen 2 sprites:

Oooh, finally a release date for the localized Switch version of Mamotte Knight! Naturally has to drop in the middle of a month of stacked titles for me, but I'm hyped to finally get some of my English only friends in on it.

Looks fun

Ahhh ok, I’d only be interested in it for handheld on the OLED, i’ll wait until I see it super cheap.

When the vote regarding an issue with slave labor isn't unanimous among your party in Triangle Strategy

I haven’t seen this vote yet but yeah the game doesn’t exactly paint any of the countries in a good light near the beginning, does it? I guess Glenbrook isn’t too bad, just your usual royal family disfunction and medieval class issues. But when you get the choice of going to the others… gee, do I pick the compassionless backstabbing warmongers, or the racist slaving religious zealots?

Well just wrapped up my likely last ski day of the season. 10 days definitely made the pass and new boots worth it. Now time for some 3D modeling and video games

Not sure if I’m going to mess with chroma squad, continue Cyberslueth or try Sakuna

13 Sentinels is a day one purchase for me. I'm so excited to finally play that game and I'm hoping the rest of Vanillaware's library won't be too far behind.
I wish Marvelous would ask them to port Muramasa to PS4/Switch.

A lot of the big decisions come down to "Here is the right thing to do but we're fucked so we need the support of these scheming assholes". But yeah, pretty much anyone outside of your party is a scumbag and you basically can't trust anyone.

I think that’s part of what’s making the game harder for me, I keep picking the “this is the right thing to do” options and it keeps backfiring, but I’m kind of roleplaying Serenoa that way so we’ll see what happens!

Has this patent been discussed? It was only published/released 11 days ago. If you go to "Drawings" and scroll down it looks like Nintendo patented more customization options for the Switch controller and joycons: https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=US353220081&_cid=P12-L110SB-29776-1

EDIT: There are drawings for the analog stick to be above the buttons on the right joycon which is neat.
Have one with a Dpad as well. Not sure having a top stick on the right would work with multiplayer (of course the dpad one probably wouldn’t either).

It's a continuation of the original patent for joycons, not much new in it.

Would you recommend getting RF5 over RF4? I was thinking of just getting the latter because it looks like it runs better and it's visuals are much more appealing to me

Apparently Ubisoft is preparing a huge showcase of their titles, +20 Possible announcements including Mario+Rabbids 2 (article says that its still on track for a 2022 release).

It says that they are showing Prince of Persia SoT remake and a new PoP that is a 2.5D game, hopefully that comes to Switch.

In addition, a sequel of Inmortals is on development, another potential titles aimed for a Nintendo HW.

Kind of tempted to get P4AU, since it seems to be running well. I'm not going to play online anyway, so idgaf about lack of rollback netcode.

Though I reckon it will go on sale within a couple of months, so I might wait it out until then.

God I hate headaches, especially all day ones

At least I got an appointment with the doctor tomorrow to hopefully get something settled on it

i'd be surprised if mario+rabbids 2 makes it in 2022 tbh. i guess we'll see. if a date is not confirmed by the june direct then it's 2023.

Kirby #4 on US eShop my boy is shooting for #1
Star Allies were also hit #1 in eShop list once. Then it dropped out of the list. Hitting there is not enough, it needs to stay there for a long time. MP Superstars was #3 for more than 2 months...

Did any of what Henderson come true? He's been saying a lot of things for last few months but he doesn't come across as a legit leaker like Grubb. He didn't specify the timing of this event so I'll assume this is their traditional E3 presentation.

I'd be shocked if there actually is a Immortals followup. It did good sales wise but felt like one time only thing.
