Just a reminder that we do have the Metroid thread for spoiler talk. Some of us - not mentioning names or confessing - haven't started playing because we're desperately trying to finish replaying Fusion* before playing Dread.

*not a piracy related endorsement. reconceptualize reserves the right to own a GBA and game cartridge. Offer valid for a limited time.

Was looking for an OatmealDome tweet last year for a separate thread discussion, but came across this exchange instead.

Admittedly not much has changed if N64 NSO was planned for last year if it weren't for the 'Rona (and no shade directed to LuigiBlood at all for what was pure speculation at the time), but it might give more credence to the fact not only is Perfect Dark coming to Switch before the end of the year, but that in a better timeline we'd be playing it already when these negotiations were planned out long before

oh would you like to see the puppy?

Agreed! There's a Metroid Dread thread where you can discuss and post spoilers etc.

Oh, hi there everyone! Finally joined. Glad to see the thread thriving. I've been mostly disconnected for the past... Month and half, I think? Real life kicked my butt super hard. I really need to catch up on a lot, what has been going on?

Nice to know my explanation got people to the right spot anyway!! Thanks!
That spot is a little tricky, for sure. But overall one thing Dread is really good at is sort of subtly telling you where to go next without actually making it overt in any way. Like, say you find a new upgrade that lets you go to a few new places - and as you wander around the area you got it in, you find that you now have access to a teleporter that you didn't have before. Odds are good, especially if the teleporter backtracks to an older area, that that's where your next upgrade will be found.

Haha I’ve been on media blackout this whole time, ain’t gonna accidentally spoil anything in the middle of my play through 😅

BOTW looks sooooo good on the oled, Nintendo games tend to be so colorful, the oled is the best thing that ever happened.

So some friends finally got me playing Divinity: Original Sin 2 as a multiplayer group, and I can confirm it is very DnD-ish fun. @Skittzo was right, I must admit.

It'll probably take us an eternity to finish it as a multiplayer group that can only play a few hours a week, but I'm looking forward to doing more!

I've been meaning to make a Divinity OS2 hype thread here.

Banjo and Perfect Dark?

We're really about to see everything but GoldenEye and Mickey's Speedway from Rare before it's all done and dusted huh

Even if I were a non-gamer, Nintendo games would still be my favorite games to not play.

A slip up from last year also that Blast Corps was also planned for Wii U at one point:

The fact that both games are listed as being published by Microsoft Japan shows that it wasn't a simple mistake and that they were both planned for the Wii U VC at one point.

It's been pretty obvious that Nintendo and Microsoft have been talking with each other for awhile now and now it's finally coming to fruition.

Can't wait for Blast Corps!

And I guess I'm just thrilled all the pessimism about the potential N64 NSO situation turned out to be for naught.(at least so far anyway) makes me hopeful some other even older Rare games like R.C. Pro Am might show up too.

Apparently Nintendo's male genitalia often finds himself in my mouth, according to this reaserchers and their kind mail.
At least you're not prone to licking the bottom of footwear as I have read in recent accusations online.

I wouldn't say I am pessimistic about it, but I'm definitely going to "wait and see" before I get my hopes up.

Oh, apart from Goldeneye of course. Fully pessimistic on that one!
