I wonder if those Game And/Or Watch units will ever go on a steep sale here in Canada. I'd love a desk clock but not for 60 bucks. I'd bite at 40
 
I only wanna play motion controlled sports with my girlfriend, I have no interest in being swept up in some kind of Miihad.

Just dawned on me that Nintendo is realizing 2 "Ultimate" games for their best Multiplayer series. First we got Smash Ultimate and now we are getting 48 tracks for MK8. If this is any sort of trend, maybe Splatoon 3 will be the next "Ultimate" game?
 
Miis are the greatest thing Nintendo did since Pikmin. And I’m not joking around. Can’t think of any new property since that’s been as good or impactful (and I love Splatoon a lot). Street pass games rank in my top 10 played all time and I’ll go to the wall over this.

So what you're saying is the weebs need to band together with the wiibs and the uh.. what would yall call those of us who grew up with NES and SNES? But yeah, band together against the coobers and the Fortnite dancers. Or something. I guess. I just really wanted to say "wiibs"

I kid. I have no ill will towards you all of the Wii generation, but I certainly don't understand your preferences.

Nintendo is all about Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Here's my 2 hour video on why everything else is a disappointment.
 
Miis are definitely good and an important part of Nintendo history, easily way waaaaay more important than a lot of the dead characters or IP people want back and even more important than some that are alive. I can appreciate their versatility, the elegant simplicity of their design and how they manage to express so much with so little. There's a reason why people have developed some nostalgia for them but not for other similar player avatars. I find it weird that every time Miis come up there's someone acting surprised about people liking them like they haven't been featured in a gazillion games.

But for me personally, their inclusion in Wii Sports specifically has little emotional value. Sports and Resort were very much about the motion controls and the social experience. So I don't really mind that they're trying something new with the Sportsmates. I'm much more of a Tomodachi/Miiverse/StreetPass kinda guy in this regard. I do however understand why people are disappointed or upset about the Miis being sidelined in Nintendo Switch Sports.

Splatoon hasn't been around long enough for there to be an ultimate version of it.
 
Switch Sports should add a small story mode acknowledging the beef between Sportsmates and Miis.

I just spent so long writing up this gigantic Might and Magic thread without realizing like, nobody is going to read it. Oh well, gonna post it and hope some of you care a little.
 
Gamecube kicked ass
had good graphics at the time (better than ps2)
had extremely interesting and weird games that would not nor could not get made/released in literally any other generation (English Animal Crossing, for example)
Dabbled in Online Play if you REALLY liked PSO (I sure did lmao)
GREAT controller
