the problem with Super Nintendo Switch is how you would refer to it in shorthand

Super Switch sounds terrible

I voted for Switch 4K because it best fits my headcanon about the incoming hardware
The SNSW, pronounced Snuhswah

tbh "Switch 2" or "Switch Gen 2" would definitely cement the Switch concept as Nintendo's thing going forward.

I feel like they'll keep it somewhat generic when it comes out so my vote went to Nintendo Switch 2, but I feel like New Nintendo Switch would be very possible too!

As for the one I'd like, that's definitely Super Nintendo Switch!

the only multi-syllabic appendage I like is 4K because it's at least visually so short and also descriptive

otherwise I think one syllable is best

I don't see them doing Super Nintendo Switch, even though it's the best option. I voted for Nintendo Switch Max because I think this sounds more likely.

Well my third boxed game is done(tho I started it first. 2 still need top coats but that’ll have to wait). So here’s a before after and a tabletop angle

Took me a year due to nervousness on Mothra but it’s finally complete!

What's this about Switch 4k being in second place? Really I don't think they would put the 4k output as a central marketing point because not every game will achieve it (cue lawsuits) and the screen certainly won't be 4k.

Instead of just licking the cartridges, people will be licking the console lol
I thought only us on Famiboards would lick Nintendo's... console.

They won't call it 4K when the Switch won't be able to run any game at 4K on portable mode.

Super Nintendo Switch makes it pretty clear what we are talking about.

Every game would output 4k when connected to a TV capable of 4k, it just won't render at 4k natively.

Just like all of the various smartphone games that claim to be high res.

I don't know what the model name will be, but I do wonder if accompanying information about the next Switch describes it as a second-generation Switch.

Obviously, they're not going to call it Switch Second Generation Model, but I'm interested in how Nintendo broach an iterative successor approach and if that is the angle they go for.

I dunno, "Switch Gen 2" has a ring to it

I picked up Paper Mario 64 again this weekend after dropping it due to work and other stuff and, um,

the Shy Guy Toy Box is unbearable. Having to backtrack so many times and go between the toy box and the town is terrible design. I really hope it gets better after this.

Nintendo won't keep the Switch name. New device will be called The Nintendo Fun Thing or The NFT for short.

His support of TeamJanuary is going to be full of empty promises like his presidency was.
I support Team January but goddamn lmfao

~~~
Tis Monday, folks. It be snowing out dere in dem fields, Bruce on the turntable, a rabbit asleep beside my foot, and casually working while thinking of how the hell I'm gonna beat that damned wind serpent in the urgent rampage quest in MHRise. Hoping I can beat it before Arceus, but especially tonight.
Excited to pickup The Artful Escape tomorrow and have that keep me occupied for the next three days
I maintain my position, that Switch 4k is the best name for the next model.
SFourk and SwOLED are just a poetic couple so it can't be helped.
Alright this is weird maybe but who wants to help me pick what to play next?
I marked a few off because they're either compilations or subscription apps.
Also owned but not pictured:
Indivisible
SuperEpic
Nier Automata
Aggelos is a really fun, light Metroidvania in a throwback Wonder Boy style. I really dug it, especially going for 100%.
