I just remembered that 13 Sentinels is coming to Switch in 3 months. Lots of good quality 3rd party games are coming out and more to come and be announced soon.

I'm really excited for this (and the possibility of other vanillaware games coming). I'm ordering the japan physical...don't even know if it has english on it.

Gonna have to wait on picking it up until I can play it at 60fps in 4k on the Dane. I can only read in 60 frames per second at 4 thousand pixels per eye.

Haven't played FF X (but I plan to this year), so I can only recommend Xenoblade 1 in this case.

That is a good value for $40. AC 2 and Brotherhood are great games. Revelations was ok at best.

That puts six AC games on Switch. I wonder if Ubisoft is saving the PS4 gen for the next Switch system? I'm guessing they don't have much interest in moving AC 1 over.

I started a replay of Ocarina of Time 3D on the 3DS yesterday and, man, I don't know if it's just because I got done watching a long review that used footage of the 64 version, but I really feel like playing the 64 version instead. It might be because I have never played it, or maybe it's just because I'm used to playing on the TV most of the time now. I suspect it's mostly due to the darker tone/color palette of the 64 version, which probably goes along better with the epic feel of OoT.

Makes me wish the NSO version was better, or that they restocked N64 controllers soon. Yes, I'm complaining about that again

I wonder if Nintendo underestimated the demand for that beautiful controller, or if they are just having trouble making enough.

Either way I hope they stock up soon. A lot of people I know want one.

I picked up KOTOR when it went on sale but just can't get into it. I've never been huge on RPGs but thought the star wars license might keep me interested - I did love the South Park RPGs. But I seem to have the same experience with all of these Aspyr Star Wars PC ports. I didn't play them when they were new and find them too dated to enjoy these days.

So instead I'm playing through BotW for like the 5th time. Just pulled the master sword and went to the field to farm guardian parts. Maybe I'll see about 100%-ing Ori 2 or play some Star Fox 64.

FFX by a landslide honestly. It may get memed for being the first FF to not have a world map, having annoying mini-games as well as a few meme-worthy cutscenes but it’s still a very fun and well paced game, I wouldn’t say the same for Xenoblade which has bad combat, a weak progression system, zero gameplay variety and uneven pacing

I know Xenoblade is over 10 years old at this point but I still would never consider it retro, it has a lot of elements that are still trendy in game design today, such as having a million sidequests and collecting various materials. FFX is not only a much more fun game moment to moment but it’s also most definitely the foundation of your favorite 6th gen JRPG. It’s a classic

This is Kinley and Fiona, I got them last year when my old dog suddenly passed away. They are spoiled, but very loving dogs. They are extremely people friendly; I swear Jason Voorhees could come walking in with a bloody machete in hand and they would act like it's their new best friend. They keep me super busy, but I don't mind. There's usually a goofy event or two each day that happens with them. Favorite activities of theirs include long walks and stopping every person they see so they can meet them, chasing lizards and birds, destroying every toy they get, barking at FedEx and Amazon Prime trucks/vans ( Post office and USP trucks are ok , DHL is undetermined) and lying on top of your legs so they can watch tv.

This is what they do to the toys they love, a huge fit was had when I got rid of Lamb Chop. They got new ones for Christmas though. However this picture is a perfect picture of how I felt for a good bit of last year. lol
