This Direct may change it's layout, music and intro. It's the same for more than 3.5 years.

I mean I like the current Direct as it is now... don't change when it's not broken.
We already had one in November + the holiday event. This is way too early for another one.Something to keep in mind; it's very possible that we get a Indie World before a General Direct.

The format itself haven’t been changed since early 2018, the only thing the change since September 2019 was the intro music. But they will change it. They did that in 2019 too. Not sure what exactly you mean by format since that will always be the same. But aside from change in intro music, it also changed the overall music when presenters are talking, the intro itself has a different graphics and the headlines have a different graphics too). The format itself haven’t been changed since early 2018, the only thing the change since September 2019 was the intro music.
Probably a Twitter reveal. Weird.[Leak] Trek to yomi listed on the eshop, release 31-01-2023

Personally I don’t see this happening for a while, maybe 2024. I don’t think it has to do with the idea of “needing to refresh every 2-3 years,” rather, I think Nintendo will just change it when they think the design requires a refresh for whatever reason. This Direct may change it's layout, music and intro. I don;t think so. We just had one two months ago and usually(I think always) an indie follows the first direct of the year.Something to keep in mind; it's very possible that we get a Indie World before a General Direct.
I think they can get away with a small teaser. I think it's fine for them to do a Zelda blowout(which I somewhat doubt will happen in a general), and then have a teaser for a game that isn't coming for another 12-20(or more) months. If they show Prime 4 this year, i get a feeling it's not in the next upcoming general Direct. They'll give Zelda the max focus now, so the earliest i could see Prime 4 appearing is in a E³/June Direct.
I can relate with you someHealth issues of my own and my dog soured the start of my year so bad that when I can't even shitpost in earnest was when I realized I didn't believe in Team January this year.
I'll return to believing in #TeamJanuary come March, but man it's taken me until last week to stop writing off the year entirely and just let January be a bust
Lol Team January (Me included is crying rn) two potential Direct Annoucement just Twitter dropped....

Yeah, that's what will probably happen. They will make a new one once negt-gen arrives to differenciate it enough.Personally I don’t see this happening for a while, maybe 2024. In other words, I don’t think they change it because of duration. I think they change it because they see some other, more objective reason for a refresh.
(What that reason is, I have no idea.)
I don't like this gameOh I can do worse.
It's definitely possible whenever a Direct happens in the next 2 months, it's a Mini and Zelda gets its own Direct later just to show off TotK, since you know, it's SUPPOSED to be Nintendo's only big release this year.
