Did it seem like she was having fun with that in mind?Beat Dedede with the wife this afternoon. She's getting frustrated with some of the levels, so I'll probably put this down once we roll credits.
Yeah, the game is still easy enough that we can get through it without dying much.Did it seem like she was having fun with that in mind?
HAL really hit it out of the park with this one and I think it's going to be fondly remembered as one of the the all-time greats in the Kirby pantheon.
I have just gotten the third Ranger power up and it is GLORIOUS. Definitely my copy ability, both aesthetically and functionally.

Get out of my head: https://famiboards.com/threads/kirb...iews-are-out-see-threadmarks.2242/post-186227To me it's kind of like Kirby's Mario Galaxy moment. Forbidden Land felt like a giant leap in terms of presentation, style, and confidence for the franchise in the same way that Galaxy did for Mario, IMO.
Luckily the game tells you when you find all of them In an area so it's hard to accidentally miss oneFinished the main story, and saved all the Waddle Dees.
And now at the postgame I’ve tried the first level out and I’m kinda not feeling like searching for those soul bits. Guess I’ll play something else first.
Yeah, but I still kinda hoped they split the areas into their own short levels instead. I missed one in the first area, so when the message came up in the second area I audibly groaned.Luckily the game tells you when you find all of them In an area so it's hard to accidentally miss one
Lol yeah happened to me in the first area too, I get thatYeah, but I still kinda hoped they split the areas into their own short levels instead. I missed one in the first area, so when the message came up in the second area I audibly groaned.
I forgot to mention my deep love for the Burning, Churning Power Plant music. There's something about the piano that brings it all together.
What a GREAT OST. I feel like Nintendo's upped their game re: music in general since the Switch came out. Not that their games had bad music before, but they're on another level in a number of games from this generation.
In my opinion, Nintendo's compositions took a massive leap with the Wii and then again with Switch. Galaxy and its sequel have top three OSTs of all time, IMO, and there are all sorts of excellent compositions across their other games (and in the dope system music in the Wii Shop, for that matter).I think that already happened with Wii U. But it is great to see it continues with the Switch.

The WiiU didn't have that for me overall, personally, though I do deeply love Mario Kart 8's OST.
I don't think any one OST from Nintendo on Switch is better than Galaxy's OST, but man, do a lot of the OSTs from their games on this console come reasonably close.
hitting enemies with attacks spawn little orbs that grant you health. it's effectively just passive health stealIs there something specific you do for the healing with theor is just a regen passive?Morpho Knight ability
I see, thanks. I was using it in the final Cup Z and wondering if I needed to do some special techniquehitting enemies with attacks spawn little orbs that grant you health. it's effectively just passive health steal
I cannot for the life of me find this last donut I am missing in the mall level. All I want is for Kirby to have four donuts, is that too much to ask?
One thing I really appreciate about this game is that it's very quick to 'mop up' the stuff you missed in each level (outside of boss levels which should really have a 'retry' option). You can pretty much skip everything in each level if you really want, because the primary challenge comes from doing more than just clearing the stage.
Quick questions for people who are post-game.
I'm now at 91% complete after finishing the Forgo Psychic Lands with all soul pieces collected.
I have bought and upgraded/completed each part of the town, including updating the bandstand.
I want to make sure that I know what I have to do to get that last 9%. I did look at guides, but the ones I looked at were a bit unclear, so I thought I'd check here.
On my to-do list is:
- Finishing the four Gotcha collections
[*]Completing the third and final colosseum that is the post-Forgo unlock
[*]Upgrading the sword with the Morpho blueprint
Now, I want to make sure. Do I also have to do the following:
- Add a +1 upgrade to every form of each weapon that allows it
[*]Complete the very hard tilt-and-roll games (I got the Gotcha for completing the base ones already)
I wasn't sure if those were also necessary. If anyone who has completed the full 100% could tell me, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
It is not, no! Just gotta beat the base levels. Is Extra Hard on Tilt and Roll required for 100%?
Because, nah. I don't have the dexterity for this
