Did he though? Why do we need to hold people accountable? Nate ended up being right in the end.
Listening to his prediction stream, there was nothing about a musou game and he said that the game was by the 3 houses team using the 3 houses engine. In any case, I don't think there's anything wrong with pointing out inaccurate predictions from so called insiders, but neither should we hold them "accountable", that's just silly imo.Why do we need to hold people accountable? Nate ended up being right in the end.
By that logic anyone could be a "credible insider". Many people on this site almost worship these people, hanging on their every word, basing their hype or disappointment on some nebulous "hints" that could as well be shots in dark. "He knows something." Great, and what if that's 10%, while 90% are educated guesses? But I guess some people like being manipulated by clout chasers. You do you.Holding them accountable? Some people get ridiculed because they're clearly lying. Nate obviously has some idea of things that are going on, and relays what he's told. He's not held 'accountable' because most people know that the info might not always pan out 100 percent. Nate knows that and acknowledges it. No need to go head hunting because the info wasn't 100 percent accurate.
I'm not one of the people that worships people who have sources in the game industry, but I'm also not someone offended by it. If you have an issue with how people react to insiders, take it out on them, not the person sharing the info acknowledging that it may not all be accurate. What do you think Nate should be held accountable for? He never claims his info is 100 percent, just that he relays what he hears. If other people want to put too much stock in that, that's not really his fault.By that logic anyone could be a "credible insider". WE MUST HOLD THE VIDEO GAME PREDICTION MAN ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS SINSAnd why are you making excuses for them instead of holding them accountable? Who says those aren't just educated guesses? Ever heard of cold reading? Some "insiders" get ridiculed as not credible, yet others have excuse after excuse made for them without any need to actually explain themselves. It's bizarre.
Agreed, I like that they are building on this direction of "Tell an interesting story with slick production values, targeted for the fans, and mash-in mix-ups of the Warriors gameplay."I agree that the first FE Warriors wasn't so "strong" as Age of Calamity nor Persona Strikers, in terms of blending genres/story but I'm pretty sure this one will be WAY more integrated into the Three Houses world/gameplay
I see where he’s coming from. To be fair, Nate is often vague and he often notes when he’s just making a prediction.I'm not one of the people that worships people who have sources in the game industry, but I'm also not someone offended by it. You seem to be a bit upset that you were 'manipulated'. Perhaps you're reading more into this info than you're supposed to. Just take the info as Nate advises you to, not official info and relayed information. If you do that, you wont be disappointed. If you don't care at all, just ignore what he's saying.

Well, in the past Nate was very confident there would be a general direct because he had info on Super Mario 3D All-Stars, but then we just got a Mario anniversary direct instead. It seems like Nate gets partial info and then sometimes extrapolates it incorrectly, which is fine, it's not the end of the world. Just need to take anything we hear from any insider with that context in mind.I see where he’s coming from. To be fair, Nate is often vague and he often notes when he’s just making a prediction.
I’m sure he’s kicking himself a bit right now, because the Fire Emblem reveal was about as confident as I’ve ever heard him. He wasn’t presenting it as an educated guess, he was pretty much saying that there would be a mainline Fire Emblem game in the show and that just flat-out didn’t happen. He’s usually not as confident as he seemed here and unfortunately he swung and missed (ok…maybe it was more like a foul ball).
Yeah, but regardless of how confident Nate is, he always says he's just telling us what he heard. We really should take what he says as that, and only that. There is no need to hold him accountable if that stuff ends up being different. Like, what does that even mean? What are we supposed to do to him?I see where he’s coming from. Do? Nothing. I just hope that it brings everyone back down to earth a bit. Nate was wrong, and I hope that he admits it and everyone moves on. Nobody ever really seems to know what Nintendo is doing and maybe we should stop fooling ourselves into thinking that they do.Yeah, but regardless of how confident Nate is, he always says he's just telling us what he heard. Just to add to that, for all we know, a new Fire Emblem strategy game could well be in the cards later in the year.Yeah, but regardless of how confident Nate is, he always says he's just telling us what he heard. He responded in another thread saying this was a surprise to him, but he's still sure about the FE game he described existing, though he's now unsure about when it would releaseDo? Nothing. Gonna need this too. I already have the other 3 Switch Fire Emblem CE's.Fuck...imma have to get this.
No Bernie = I riotWonder what the full roster will look like
Needs Felix, Bernadetta, and Seteth
Some sort of alternate timeline, though I suppose the question is when it branches.Gonna need this too. I already have the other 3 Switch Fire Emblem CE's.
Also how is the narrative in this game gonna work, that was one thought I couldn't get outta my head during the trailer.
Purple Hair is a new character right? Or was he from the DLC or something (never played that)canon FByleth appreciation

We saw Hubert (with a new design straight from hot topic) and what appears to be Hilda fighting Dimitri.Did we see anyone besides the three lords?
The casual game wasn't Switch Sports. It remains unannounced. He also implied that the casual game was a 1-2-Switch sequel and said Xenoblade 3 was likely delayed to 2023. He's being fed duff information, purposefully or otherwise.
Think the mainline game could come out in early December? Like the slot Xenoblade 2 released in 2017. Just a guess from me and puts some distance between itself and Warriors. The casual game wasn't Switch Sports. It remains unannounced.
I didn't say XBC3 was likely to be delayed. I entertained the possibility it could find itself facing a small delay, pending how smoothly optimization went which caused the game to be delayed from 2021 to 2022. Within the context of the conversation, it was obvious speculation & entertaining a potential outcome.
And this was not the Fire Emblem I spoke of. The FE I've spoken of is a mainline entry. My contact was not aware of this title and did not confuse one for the other.
I wouldn't dismiss the possibility of such an outcome playing out. There being a spinoff certainly leaves the door open for them to bring a mainline entry out towards the latter half of the year. I'm very optimistic about that mainline game still hitting this year. I consider Warriors to be a bonus, a welcome surprise in addition to the new game and remake. We haven't had any new Fire Emblem games since the 3 houses dlc dropped over 2 years ago so this is a very welcome outcome.I wouldn't dismiss the possibility of such an outcome playing out. FEW3H was a surprise, but it doesn't change the prior info of a new mainline game and a remake being in development for Switch.
