regular unrelated post
I may only be saying this because I disagree with all but three of them (bonus points if anyone guesses which), but having a bulleted list as your signature might be pushing their inclusion a little too far lmao

edit: yes mine is long but at least it word wraps

I forget Bayonetta 3 was first announced at the TGAs. huh. How bout that.

...

This is wholly unrelated(unless it gets announced for consoles at the TGAs) but PC Fami should really check out the game Inscyption. It's a "card game" ...but like different.

I don't usually think it matters if you go in blind with deck building games, but you totally should do that with this one. Game is wild.

Please all of you who enjoy good story, are not put off by a anime aesthetics, and have not played 13 Sentinels yet, please give it a shot on either PS4 or incoming Switch release, its a hidden gem of a game, with brilliantly crafted story and mystery, gorgeous art design, and amazing plot twists i couldn't see at all, and they made sense as well (and not many games can do that nowadays)!

Honestly I'd rather see something new at the game awards besides zelda, like I already know what to expect for botw2 and also probably going to avoid spoilers for the interesting new stuff that we do get until I play the game myself.

well I most certainly don’t. give me that proper reveal. Trinen explicitly said that we haven’t seen what differentiates the game

I just realised that I have enough gold coins to get Inside for free since it's 90% off. Should I get Limbo too?
Inside is a masterpiece of the highest order, while Limbo is a really good game. Both are worth playing at that price.

Mario Kart 8 DX is going to go down as the best selling single SKU game of all time* isn't it?

*Excluding free bundled games AKA Wii Sports

Thing is I love a good story, I love anime aesthetics, but I'm not sure I'll enjoy a tower-defense RTS. I really like Vanillaware but I'm worried I simply won't like 13 Sentinels' gameplay.
Someone talk me out of this worry

I'm quite confident BotW2 will be at TGA. It's Nintendo's game that appeals the most to the audience, there is Bill Trinen saying "You will hear more about it later this year" and also the previous history of the original and the show.

Tbh i also wasnt really sold on RTS side, but to be frank it contains around maybe only 20-25% of the total gameplay, rest of 80% are those visual novelish exploration and story based gameplay. And it still is really enjoyable to sometimes jump to RTS side to have palette cleanser.

So much praise for this game. I wish it came out in January lol.

i don't know but it's gonna get C&D'd just like the previous mother 4
if they C&D'd the last one, then they might have some legal right over it. or they're just using their size to push this team around. then again, it's never a good idea to do something like this anyway. should just call it Megaton Musashi

I just want to go in as blind as possible, did it for botw1 and it was worth it

Ah yeah that's fair. I thought you were saying you knew what to expect for the game, and I didn't see how any of us possible could. The game is almost as much of a mystery as it was in the initial reveal

I've personally got room for a title reveal and a bit more about what makes the game different from BotW1 - like how has the 5+ years of work been applied here. wouldn't mind going in blind after I've got that under my belt

Watching TGA live because I can’t miss seeing Dread possibly get GOTY. It was so heartwarming seeing aonuma accept it for BotW.

I also think 2022 will be amazing for the industry so I’m expecting some good reveals even from Nintendo.

And y’all I’m PRAYING that Chrono cross remaster comes to switch.

How do you watch videos in portrait orientation?
I can’t remember the last time any video I wanted to see made me switch to sideways view. Usually I click play and they work. Even watch films that way, but only reruns. New films I watch them on the big screen first. Didn’t see Dune cause I didn’t have a tv at the time sadly.

I also watch everything in the lowest possible setting. Makes it easier to load videos, especially long ones. And streams.

I really don't care about quality but I just can't see shit on videos in portrait. It's extremely painless to just turn the phone to watch something.

That's just me I guess.
