the most famiboardsy thing about it is the habitually pessimistic dark cloud vs the nearly compulsively optimistic magic-man
That's the natural balance of life

That seems likely. Sony is going to fight tooth & nail to keep Persona and mainline Final Fantasy closely associated with the platform likely because those have been breakout hits for them over the years. With 13 sentinels coming to Switch before P5, it's almost certain than Persona 5 is closely related to PlayStation.
Absolutely. For me that "certain type of game" is Xenoblade. You know that feeling when you're itching for a certain kind of game but there's nothing out there that quite fits what you want and you haven't already played?
my life's goal is to build upon the strategic small guy genre set by pikmin, katamari, and chibi robo so that people like me have more video games to play
Hoa is a good choice in my mind, the game is not too hard, beatiful 2D visuals and good soundtrack.Hey fami. Would love some help here.
I'd rather ask an open question here than post a thread. My cousin is gifting her 9 year old daughter a Switch Lite and is in need of recommendations! Preferably indie or lower priced games. I wrote down Minecraft and Captain Toad but I'm in a bit of a brain freeze. Would love to hear about things I can check out. Her English is decent.
I'm not into the game, but my fiancee is. Might grab it for her.13 Sentinels is coming to Switch next April!
HYPE as fuck!
i was soo hoping for this game on the switch!!!!
Man, this opening is excellent. I can't wait for this.
This is me currently. Since finishing Dread… for the fourth time. You know that feeling when you're itching for a certain kind of game but there's nothing out there that quite fits what you want and you haven't already played?
confession? I‘m glad you’re mentioning it, those are some low quality titles.I have a confession to make.
Playing the BDSP remakes feel like such a drag for me.
I'd rather wait for microLED tvsOh my god yall, Amazon's Cyber Monday sales have some OLED tvs nearly $1000 off.
I will not give as I'm not ready for a new tv yet but I hope this bodes well for the coming years

At least three times a year i have this urge to lose myself in a big adventure in a big world full of discoveries and then realize I just want to play BotW but set in a new world. You know that feeling when you're itching for a certain kind of game but there's nothing out there that quite fits what you want and you haven't already played?
whispers
This is the universe telling you to play Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross
the fact that even botw2 won't technically satisfy this is very funny to meAt least three times a year i have this urge to lose myself in a big adventure in a big world full of discoveries and then realize I just want to play BotW but set in a new world.
"…haven’t already played."
sweet will skip this borefest again! This could apply to countless non-Nintendo games, too. That's the glory of the tease. It can fit anything.
Based on the framing & wording, it doesn't sound Nintendo. Sounds like a company that he has courted for a TGA reveal.
whispers
pretend you haven't played them.
sad face

If I'm going to replay CC, it'll be the remakester.
Did a replay of CT earlier this year so I'm good for a few more months.
Depends on what you mean by "gameplay". There are two main types of game to the game: Visual Novel, and robot combat sim/RTS with pause. The Visual Novel parts of the game are really what the real game is, and it's like... probably easily 60-75% of the game, maybe more, and those are excellent, but it's visual novel: You're really just walking around the world and talking to people, that's it. Finding branching story paths, etc.Is the gameplay in 13 Sentinels actually good? I've mostly heard mixed opinions on the gameplay, which is what really matters to me. Edit: even the metacritic blurb is all about the story and aesthetics, but nothing about the gameplay.
You just had to go and make that kind of post.
Yeah my hype for this game isnt really that high mostly because of this, I hope the game has amazing dungeons thothe fact that even botw2 won't technically satisfy this is very funny to me
Not sure if this is too off topic but there seems to be a fair bit of not strictly Nintendo related posts here so here goes.
After 7 long years single, I am single no longer, thanks in part to the power of gaming.
A few months ago I met this wonderful girl online; we're both huge geeks and Switch gamers, and we bonded over our mutual love of games like Monster Hunter Rise, Bayonetta 2, and Astral Chain. It broke the ice by giving us a mutual hobby to talk about.
Our city was in an extended lockdown at the time so we couldn't meet at first and spent the first two months just chatting online, but yesterday we had our 4th date and I asked if she wanted to take things further and make us official. She said yes.
I am over the moon; she's kind, smart, funny, gorgeous, and completely accepting and understanding of the fact I am autistic and have OCD, which are often deal breakers for people. I feel so incredibly blessed and can't wait to see where this goes.
Phew, sorry for the diary entry, was just busting to share haha.
You get used to itI can’t keep up with all these alerts. This is what it’s like to be famous.
Absolutely. For me that "certain type of game" is Xenoblade.
I hear you though. The malaise that hits when you can’t quite figure out what to enjoy is very real. I’ve found trying a different medium altogether helps a bit; movies, music, and books usually reset my gaming interests.
Hope you find something that works.
Right.Yeah, I definitely don’t believe this is Nintendo related. It could be any company big or small. I’m sure Geoff will preface the trailer by saying “I flew out to ____ and we’ve worked on this trailer for 2.5 years. This is special to my heart. Please take a look”.
We’ll get something from Nintendo, but not related to this tweet.
I can't imagine what would make a good Nintendo showing at The Game Awards this year. It seems too early for Zelda, so a smattering of smaller third party games are all I think we can expect
You know that feeling when you're itching for a certain kind of game but there's nothing out there that quite fits what you want and you haven't already played?
This is what I'm leaning toward. If not that, then maybe just some third party stuff and nothing from Nintendo themselves.Metroid Prime is gonna be at the Game Awards
That's a good Tweet, tbh. Someone would somehow take it as a tease for something greater and ignore the reality of Dread being a known entity at the show.Metroid will make an appearance at the Game Awards. I can confirm this.
