Not that it needs one, but want to hear a rearrangement of Shore of Dreams (Another World). This soundtrack is absolutely amazing.

It will almost certainly release on Switch. Every remaster Square makes (SaGa, Mana, Actraiser, etc) lands on Switch. FF Pixel Remasters (PC/mobile only) are the exception and my cynical self believes they are just going to release a full collection later on consoles hoping that people will double dip.
 
I'm sorry, I cannot believe that Cross rumor. It seems way too farfetched (Yes, I know about the Geforce leak somewhat), but it just seems so outlandish that Square would remaster that before Trigger.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

Nintendo isn't going to let Monolith Soft staff work on a non-exclusive and Square Enix isn't going to make Xenogears Nintendo-exclusive. A double whammy of not happening.

Really glad I waited till death's door was released on Switch because I wouldn't have had time to play it on Xbox. The question is now: do I try to go for a physical release and miss playing it during these holidays?

Just did Ring Fit for the first time in a few weeks (no I'm not actually Jessica Alba but I get that a lot) and I just had to have my first level be the damn boss level that has like 25 pinwheel gates and the 3 masters at once as the boss, my body is highly dead at the moment.

idk, there was a lot of confusion when it was nominated for best indie game at the game awards. apparently it's not very good gameplay wise, and it deals badly with some sensitive subject matter.

I played it through game pass for like 3 hours and didn't quite finish it. I got annoyed and looked up a walkthrough after a while, reached a point where I was like "this is a good stopping point for today," and never came back. That kind of defeated the purpose of figuring things out on my own but I just wasn't getting anywhere.

I thought it was fine, but apparently I wasn't hooked enough to come back and finish it. It's one of those things where I'm glad I played it on Game Pass instead of buying it separately.

Hello everyone. Turns out working in the new building on campus is seriously detrimental to my shit-posting abilities. Fortunately I remain work from home the rest of the time sooo shit-posting is a go from tomorrow.

I take some issue with people saying "why not Trigger first?". While Trigger has hardly received the red carpet treatment from Square, Trigger has been rereleased on at least 3 separate occasions now. Meanwhile this will be Cross' first proper rerelease ever.

On top of that, I'd add that Trigger doesn't need the remaster treatment, and could easily be simply shadowdropped alongside Cross.
 
Would've been the perfect solution to just have both games be remastered for modern platforms at the same time 😔

Monolith Soft is big enough to do both. And Xenoblade is their golden egg - they don't need to be taken off of it.

Yeah, if anything, Trigger needs a full remake in Trials of Mana's caliber but even they announce something, it'd be a long way off.

The remake in question is Final Fantasy IX not Chrono Cross. CC is supposed to be a remaster, FF9 is a full remake. PS Blog recently had a FF9 how it was made entry.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH because Cross is incredible and needs a bit more refining. Trigger is perfect as-is, but the younger sibling needs its own time to shine.
