Finally started watching Gundam Origin. You know it never dawned me before cause I haven’t messed with much of the stuff pre og, but dang, the Zaku was freakin elegant compared to its predecessors. Proto Guntank is chunky. I mean it’s always mentioned in the original that the Zaku was revolutionary/why Zeon was able to turn the tides but boy this show is really going to give a good show of just how advanced it was when it showed up. Versus the original show where it was being surpassed. Then again I always loved that og Gundam had that WW1 vibe of we built a 100 different planes in a couple years because we finally were getting a grasp of what we can do with the tech.
 
Any old folks here want to share their potty training nightmare stories with me to help me cope with the fact that my wife and I are struggling hardcore with our three year old?

Me yesterday: Okay, so I started a third TotK playthrough. Trust me, this time I will only beeline the main story. No distractions. I promise.

Me now: I'm in the depths looking for zonaite to trade for crystal charges so I can upgrade my battery enough to get to the Courage Island for new gear that I can use to better maneuver the skies, because I kinda sorta decided to unlock more or less every single tower because I needed to go to some sky islands for some zonai charges for devices that I can make cars out of so I can faster travel between enemy camps to harvest arrows, rupees and equipment that I need to, well.... beeline the main story.
 
I dunno know what my current game problem is: finally finishing the TWEWY post game, watching the anime version or finally starting NEO
 


Someone streamed SW Hunters gameplay on YouTube! The game remained on eShop like for 2 years and finally coming out. But I'm tired of TF2 clones. Can't we have a proper all for one deathmatch game on Switch?

Finish the post game, then start Neo, and skip the anime for now. Watch the anime years later when you feel nostalgic.

Sounds like you can do all three then :)

I’d still just wrap up the post game and move right into Neo personally. Which version of TWEWY are you playing on and how much were you interested in? The Tin Pin Slammer level is a few hours long if you do everything in it (and is a must play in general) while the new Switch epilogue is like an hour tops. If you are going for the secret reports, you can just reexperience the story while grabbing them.

Switch, I was mainly after the secret reports. Was playing with a stylus

I know, right? We get spoiled between the June and September Direct since there’s only 2.5-3 months in between. Could be in as little as 5 weeks. (Smarter money is on 6 though, or 7 if they do it last-possible-minute before TGS like last year)

Yeah they still hold the publishing rights in west and that include earlier Trails games, such as Cold Steel 1-2. They're still available on PSN for PS3 and Vita. Since the ports are pretty much 1:1 releases we don't get all those Switch ports.

This could be a different situation with Ys Memorie Oath in Felghana. The Switch re-release is different enough for NISA to get the localization deal. We hope.

Drives me nuts because they localized the PS4 versions of Cold Steel long after they lost the rights to the rest of the series. They just won’t do the Switch versions for some reason.
 
Started this guy today, pretty impressed overall and definitely tempts me to get the Krillin and 18 kits down the road. There’s only one sticker in this pic and there’s only 3 in the entire kit

The one that tripped me up was "Holes." Turns out he was in the movie Holes with Shia Labeouf way back when.

So "Holes actor (an actor from the move Holes) wins Mortal Kombat tourney in Goofy Movie (although they coulda said 'Powerline' because who the fuck would know A Goofy Movie and not know Powerline???) cosplay (a word weebs use that has bled into the mainstream)"
 
I played 3 different games on a random Tuesday

Halo Reach before dinner. Pikmin 4 after dinner. Took a dessert break and then played The Great Ace Attorney. Could have spent my time brooding on the internet instead. Some gamer I am

Oh yeah, stylus or bust on Switch. Works well enough even if it’s not the same as the original. Yeah depending on where you are at in hunting them down, you can replay the story while you pick them up which is fun.

There’s another company involved with the Switch versions, Clouded Leopard, so that’s why XSeed won’t bring them over despite having the scripts (The PS4 ports were from Falcom directly). NISA won’t go through Falcom, Clouded Leopard, and XSeed to get them out either. Definitely a frustrating experience as it would be super nice to have the whole series on as many platforms as possible.
