Yeah! Anyone got any fun plans?
hopefully I’ll have another weird not-exactly-sleep-paralysis micro-dream demon visit! I’ve had two already this year and ‘tis the season

gotta wear a little button pin that says “ask me about my dream demons”

Yeah! Anyone got any fun plans?

Meeting my cousin and his kids for some escape room shenanigans
Being supportive at my girlfriend's half marathon I had to drop out of because I got sick
Finishing another Dread playthrough and playing some more Sin & Punishment

Yeah! Anyone got any fun plans?
Taking my nephew to watch the My Hero Academia 3rd movie tomorrow and the spending the day with the family before shutting in for Halloween (I live in a busy Halloween town and things get crazy). Hopefully getting through the rest of Link's Awakening.

also does anyone know how to add badges on mobile? I’m not having any luck, not to be a grandparent

I think Arlo was actually pretty not too unfair about it.

He did acknowledge that the problems were not game breaking and the average customer would have a fine time with the games. "It gets the job done." He argues that getting the job done isn't enough when it is priced the way it is. The price (at least in the US) is very much of a premium product so it should be premium rather than adequate.

It is a bit churlish though to dismiss Megadrive as not adding value.

Just a heads up, those are nigh invisible on my phone:

I've been out with the dog and am halfway through Gunstar Heroes. Tomorrow's the start of the autumn internationals in rugby so will be watching those with my dad and brother. Gonna get some more Fire Emblem time in, too.

And seeing friends on Sunday, I think.

If i can i am gonna get one last push if spooky movies in this weekend , play mario party (scary in its own way ) and try and get my hands through the ordeal that is playing samus returns. After playing through dread, super metroid , fusion and zero mission can’t put it off any longer. Might also go for a walk and try out pikmin bloom.

A weekend, and it's Halloween, how fun!

I got no Halloween plans, but I do got lots of time to play Mario Party and Age of Calamity's DLC.
Heck yeah, Age of Calamity DLC! I can't wait to unlock Purah and Robbie because they're my favorites. That's what I'm doing as soon as I get outta work!
I just hope the DLC story turns out to be AT LEAST decent lol

Does anybody have opinions or experience with Power A Wireless Pro Controller? I want to get my son his own controller this Christmas, but we already have the standard Black Pro Controller and I want his to be different/special. I'll give credit to Microsoft with their design lab and their many colors, whereas Nintendo rarely seems to do special pro controllers and when they do, they seem very limited.

Here are my options:
  • Get a special Pro Controller. Probably the Splatoon one, as it seems like it could maybe be found for $76ish.
  • Get Power A Controller. Third party, but it would be cheaper and they have a bunch of nice designs.
  • Get a regular Pro Controller and a replacement shell and/or hand grips.
Just wanted to see if anybody has used the Power A controller and what they thought of them.

I’m sorry you want me to what

not without at least getting dinner first, jeez

What is everyone doing for their November releases? Pokemon, SMTV, and Animal Crossing DLC for me. I'm thinking my first playthrough of SMTV is going to be the easier difficulty so I can familiarize myself with the systems and get through the story before my real playthrough. Pokemon will probably be pushed to December for me since I've got nothing else that month.
Pokémon and Star Wars knights of the old republic for me

Looks like the Dread theme brought back the Tetris pros to the game. I don't mind though, like I care about winning against some nerds haha!

So anyway, completely unrelated to this, how do I report 98 players at the same time? Asking for a friend.

No Age of Calamity DLC Thread?

I want to know the news before coming back.

I don’t currently have a Power A but my understanding is that they don’t last nearly as long and have the issues inherent to third party controllers. Ideally a special true Nintendo Pro Controller will probably be the most “premium” gift…

but who knows if kids even care about that shit anymore? I just know as a kid I never wanted to use the third party controllers

so now I have a billion first party controllers if I ever have a billion people over to play video games with me, echoing trauma coping from my childhood! I don’t even LIKE people!! what am I doing?!?!? who are these hypothetical people?????????

Animal Crossing DLC, KOTOR and SMTV.
I'll get Pokémon later, will probably wait for the physical release of GTA in December, even if it's still requiring a download, and I'll probably get Blue Reflection 2 at some point but don't know when.

I'm so excited for Pokemon. I never played the OG's for these two.
Same! It’s like “holy shit they made two completely new Pokémon games in wildly different styles” to me, which excites me because it turns out I’m a Poképleb

Can't wait to buy games on sale and not play them!

Just kidding... maybe
Last couple of years I have used it to stock up on games that I would play throughout the following year. Worked out really well two years ago. I still have a few games from last year though lol.

This year I might just try to stock up on Switch first party games I don't already own. There's only a couple of PS4/5 games I want at the moment.

4) 8BitDo SN30 Pro 2: Great dpad, configurable with profiles (useful for e.g. the N64 app) and can be used with various devices like PC, Android etc.

Yeah! Anyone got any fun plans?
Jackbox Party Pack with coworkers this afternoon (which reminds me I need to change my not-work-safe username 😅), and a potential Halloween party on Saturday if I end up feeling sociable enough. I at least have a costume I can whip up on a dime but...ehhhh

Got my flu shot today though, so I'm happy for that

I feel:
  • sick
  • diseased
  • unwell
Rest easy, drink some water and hope you feel better soon dude 💜
