the only bad thing about famiboards so far is that the xenoblade people are getting a little too comfortable
We will not be limited to @Brewster123's thread only!

I agree with this 100%

I have no ill will towards many people. But I am secretly wishing that the next Monolith game is something entirely different from Xenoblade. Even though I probably won't get it anyway. XC2 with it's million fetch and drag quests and unbearably bad pacing killed the studio for me. XCX was already bad with those and the empty world, but XC2 was just awful. It had it's merits, but the bad really outweighted the good.

(I do have ill will toward some people, but video game fans are not part of those groups).

Only if we can send Pokémon dex cut discussion along with them. And Switch Pro whiners.
No, those topics are related to family-friendly company Nintendo. Those topics are not topics I would not feel embarrassed to be seen reading about.

XENOBLADE HOWEVER

Considering the Xenoblade games are the only reason I even want a "Switch Pro," there might be some synergy there. 😅

This is a safe space for all furries. Whether you're into Xenoblade, Animal Crossing or Star Fox, you're all the same in my eyes and every single one of you is valid.

My spineless whining about XB2 posting aside, this is the truth: talk about whatever you like here (well, provided it’s remotely relevant)

THAT SAID make sure you post any pics/screenshots that might get someone fired if their boss were to see behind a spoiler tag because… come on fam, some of those xb2 designs, if seen on the computer/phone screens of even the most loyal of employees, would end a career

I do want to say at least:
I absolutely adore Xenoblade after playing the first game during a really tough time in my life and the world and story being an incredible escape (and the fact that the environments were so epic on the Wii gave me a new appreciation for art design in games), X's world design kept me coming back, and 2 had one of my favorite OSTs ever, but even then, I totally 100% get the problems with a lot of the character designs/proportions in 2 and wish they had gone in a different direction in that regard. I actually like the colors, the faces, the hair, even some of the costumes, and the fact that the blades are designed by many different artists is COOL and is like a little manga history lesson, but the proportions should've been dialed back. It's an unfortunate blemish on a game I otherwise enjoy and appreciate from a series I love for many reasons.

And since each Xeno game has had a different character designer (except the artist from Gears came back for X), I hope they keep that going and get yet another artist for XB3.

Sorry, just wanted to get that out so yall know I'm a Xenoblade fan but not that kind of Xenoblade fan.

FYI 1 didn’t have a character designer. At all

I almost sold my copy of Xenoblade chronicles 2 to GameStop recently. Then I learned it’s out of print and goes for a good amount of money online. I won’t sell it and will keep it. I have issues with the combat system of the game

Physical games going over MSRP in value in the era of easily available digital downloads is something that I don't get. Sure, limited edition stuff is one thing, but most of these are just regular games. Like, who's going to pay $55 to Gamestop to buy Pokémon X when that very same store will print you an eShop code for MSRP. : v

X's armour designs always seem to get a free pass despite some elements of them being highly questionable. They even had to be changed for the Western release (and thank goodness for that).

Well I know the reason why - no one played X.

I might be getting a pet bun 😶

I don't want to share pics prematurely in case it falls through, but man oh man Imma be very excited for my new bunny who looks like a very distinguished gentleman

I can’t wait to play Mario kart 64 again. I’ve seen some speed runs and curious about trying to learn some of the tricks and shortcuts
