Yea, the Old Aperture section dragged for me too. I really liked Portal 2 but it needed another editing pass I think.
 
Speaking of complaining about games I otherwise like: Super Mario Sunshine

I'm just playing until I see the credits roll; haven't got to Mount Corona yet...but FUCK this camera. I'd earnestly trade widescreen and 60fps in SM3DAS for a useable camera that's not fighting with me every turn

just watched Everything Everywhere All At Once and

never have I experienced such a rude fucking “catharsis of recognition” to “entirely missed point and nonsense resolution” pipeline

like with SEVERAL threads

I won’t get into any spoilery details and I know this is an unpopular opinion — and let me be clear, I loved a lot of things the movie did — but it just really hit some arcs in a way that gave me whiplash from having my soul laid bare to the whole point feeling missed

I finally got the cowabung collection and played with friends Turtles in time and I don't remember being that hard, bosses took forever to go down with 4 players

does it have scaling based on how many people are playing? could be a factor if you played with fewer people in ye olde past

disclosure: I have not once played a turtle quartet game nor seen their media

LUCKY DAY! My right joy con started drifting recently and I talked with a friend about it and she was like "hm, I have 2 spare, since it's always the left that's drifting for me, and I always buy a pair. You can have one of mine when we come and visit you at the end of the month!

Finally some Game Builder Garage time when it happens!

Doubt Pshyconauts is happening, everything points to MS being done with Switch. I mean, they never even ported Battletoads to Switch.

Psychonauts is not published by MS, project was started long before the buyout. I mean, it's on PS4 right now.

Also MS is not done with Switch, Skyrim Anniversary Edition is just leaked.

Bethesda handles things differently to Xbox Game Studios, Beth is not part of Xbox Game Studios which Double Fine is part of. Like how Beth is putting things on Epic Store, but Xbox Game Studios is not.

Yeah, but Psychonauts 1 is not on PS5, Psychonauts 2 only also appeared on Playstation because Double Fine promised during Kickstarter campaign.

Had an incident with my hand yesterday where it went completely numb and I couldn’t move it. Four of the fingers wouldn’t move at all and would barely move the thumb. It’s fine today but things like that kill my motivation to post for a while

I am just waiting for a call to set up an appointment with a neurologist for what’s next. Kind of annoyed with Labor Day tomorrow as it will make the wait for that call a bit longer

Kind of getting hard to get hyped for the direct with this going on, not gonna lie

Man, this sucks, I hope it gets better soon.

Can somewhat relate to that, since I had a phase a couple of years back when my hands would go numb/tingly and hyper sensitive to the touch out of nowhere, but that resolved itself before doctors could figure out what the issue was (presumably some kind of inflammation).

Are you doing the arcade version? Maybe check what the difficulty setting DIP switch is set to (if they allow that)?

Maybe could be related but I’m also dealing with some bad pain as well. It was just shakiness for a while before the pain started recently.

At least the pain medicine is keeping the pain at bay somewhat for now

I have to miss splatoon 3 because of this

Yeah, I feel you. It was painful for me as well, but only when I tried to like, grab or hold on to something. Otherwise it was mostly just the kind of feeling you get when you sleep on your hand. Things would pretty much get better or worse day over day though, and after about 6 or 7 weeks it was thankfully over.

Dude my dog has such a bad breath that i think i will check a veterinary because it smells like he ate a skunk that died 30 days ago. Its so bad that i can smell it 1 metre away from him.

He might have a dead rotting tooth. My old dog had horrible breath and had several of those.

It also could be on my side, it's been like 30 years since I played the arcade Game, so I don't really remember the original difficulty

Certainly possible, but the bosses in most beat-em-ups are designed to be HP sponges to drain quarters. So fights going on longer than you remember makes some sense anyways
 
Had almost forgotten just how freaking cool Astral Chain is. What an amazing game. I really should go for another playthrough eventually.
 
It seems Silent Hill 2 remake is one year PS exclusive. I wonder what are the chances of a Switch port when it ends. Bloober team has been a great Switch supporter so far, I have all of their games.

Might give Fallout 76 another shot. Last time I played it my internet went out right after I finished making my character so I didn’t even start it. I heard it’s gotten better since then.

Finished the last four episodes of Futurama for the 7th or 8th time watching the series.

Fry getting to talk to his mom one last time, Zoidberg finding love with Emilia Clarke's guest character, Fry and Leela getting their happy ever after...I'm a bit of an emotional wreck rn and I need a hug, goddammit.

It’s gonna be on Hulu right, the reboot? Is the original on there too? May give it a rewatch since I will have plenty of time to watch tv for a while
