It's actually OG Nier but the source confused it with Automata because it's releasing as Nier Gestalt: Become as Pops Edition.

If RDR2 really is coming to Switch, I expect three things to happen:

1. GTAV is coming too

2. Neither game will have online. This is to cut down on storage sizes.

3. They'll still be full price anyways. Why? Because fuck you that's why.
Ideally R* would use the cloud for the online portions however from what we have heard is that they are not shipping GTAV w/o online attached & supposedly they didn’t like Nintendo’s online. So if RDR2 is coming then it will only be that game.

We know the Direct date for more than 2 years and no one noticed.

GTA Trilogy sold really well on Switch. I wouldn't be surprised if they changed their minds on it. RDR2 also has its own multiplayer mode, but that's coming apparently. Why would GTAV be a problem and not RDR2?

Third parties/Rare being open to being on the advertising has me hopeful since they would totally announce Diddy Kong racing before hand as that hasn’t been seen since the ds. Plus we know there’s more to come, they confirmed it themselves. So not too worried

I know there's more coming. I'm just not so certain that Nintendo will announce what bunch are coming in the next batch ahead of time.

I can’t put into words how depressed I feel at the thought of not having a BOTW2 trailer at the next whatever is called upcoming presentation. I know it wasn’t promised but… UGH WHY?

I still believe that Nintendo will put out at least one of the Zelda Wii U games this year, unless 2022 is going to be the first year without a Wii U port.

Just imagine how hyped we'll all be if the presentation turns out to be a Mini at this point lol

I'll take 1st-party ANYTHING
I think it will be a Mini. That Xenoblade leak is the giant elephant in the room. It doesn't make sense to show that in a Partner Showcase.

Then why line it up with their normal summer event instead of an arbitrary number like Japan? Could’ve matched CR V1/2 with CRUIS’N usa and Puzzle League for the west. Or done a full years worth

It's a bummer, but we are less than 12 months from release and a full reveal is undoubtedly this year!

One of the few Miyamoto based moments. I really dislike WW's artstyle and i find it bizarre when some people try to say it should be zelda's standard artstyle lmao.

Yeah! Not to mention that tease that Nate give us (Hennesy). For context, someone cracked the code of Nate's tease and came to a conclusion that there might be a switch pro or BOTW 2 reveal.

I don't understand why people who aren't convinced that it will be a Partner Showcase dismiss the possibility of a general anyway. I mean if you think that Nintendo will show first-party games why would it have to be a Mini and not a general?

2022 will probably be the first year without a Wii U port but that’s more due to Nintendo running out of possible options only Zelda HD remasters and Xeno X of the possible ports are left

my backlog is growing and I dont know how.... actually I know. I don't play games...hrr hrr

My backlog is growing because at the start of the pandemic I made a decision to try and cut back on games spending by only buying games that are on hella sale (unless it's a major favorite of mine like Xenoblade or Sonic) and somehow the eShop has been having like really damn good sales these past few years. I keep getting stuff at like 50-70% off and going "well I'm following the rule" but now I'm looking at my backlog and going "okay but fuck tho"

It doesn’t really matter if GTA Trilogy sold well & I doubt it would change their minds since R* is more concerned with GTAO then their single player outings currently. If they can’t get that money or include it then shipping GTAV isn’t worth it in their eyes. The same can’t be said for RDO which isn’t as successful as GTAO thus is more likely to be divorced from the mode in a single player package.

This is all hearsay since we don’t know the exact reason why. But that would be the logic going off what has been alleged. Do I think it dumb? Yes. I think there could be ways to get the game on the system everything included.

I think we are pretty much guaranteed to get pokemon news next week given the countdown and the time since the last trailer. I think it'll be in the presentation almost surely(whether it's a mini or general). Mk8 DLC is also pretty much guaranteed.

'Guaranteed' is a dangerous word to use nowadays

The sales are how they get ya

My backlog is pretty huge right now, and with my Steam Deck my large pile of Epic Games that don't run on my laptop actually became viable, so I've just put a hard stop on purchasing any games for my backlog. If I don't plan on playing it immediately, I ain't buying it

Imma just make my final predictions now because I'll be busy at work for most of the next couple of days.

It's a regular Mini Direct with a very small first-party presence. AKA we'll see a Xenoblade trailer, more N64 games, and Mario Kart DLC, but that'll be it on the Nintendo front. The rest will be third party games including Mario + Rabbids, Bayonetta 3, and Persona. The direct will be around 25 minutes long and it'll be shadow-dropped on Tuesday morning. Mario + Rabbids will get it's own Direct on Wednesday and release in late August.

add something Splatoon and am fine with this.

If it's not a Partner Showcase I have trouble seeing them skipping Splatoon 3 (Bayonetta 3 is first party btw)

I do think a Mini is still more likely than a Partners. That Pokemon YouTube has been doing regional videos weekly and just did Galar last week. And we still don't know the name of the Scarlet/Violet region so it's a perfect time for a reveal

Of course they could just do a standlone trailer completely separate from whatever Direct happens

How is Bayo 3 first party? Nintendo's publishing, but it's a Sega-owned franchise developed by a third party studio.
