Lmao oh wow it’s just straight up a Partners direct after re reading!!

Yeah so from Nintendo all I got is

Bayonetta 3
Mario + Rabbids (not even technically there’s)
Maybe a new licensed out game

So Bayo 3, Persona, Rabbids, and Mario Kart DLC? I guess Splat 3 would have it's own separate presentation.

Unsure. I've heard a few things that I have not yet been able to confirm but I'm thinking a first-party Direct may still come this summer. As to why they are spacing things out... who knows.
They've always been kinda weird about hardware announcements. I always found it weird they would announce new hardware in early-mid July instead of at their June/E3 Direct, so maybe this is related to that. In any case, I'm willing to bet a mid-summer Direct in like, July and especially August would push/eliminate the usual September Direct. Maybe they're shifting around their usual Feb/June/Sept timings? Interesting times, to be sure.

I sure as hell don’t want to hear people tell others to appreciate and be happy with a Partners Direct. This wasn’t anyones expectations. Let people be disappointed, sad or not happy. That’s perfectly fine to feel like that.

This is a certified

moment

Man the reactions are golden already, this is better than nothing at least if they really wanted to be strict we wouldnt have a direct this month at all because of no E3.

If that happens, what does that mean for the usual September Direct? Is Nintendo throwing their schedule out the window? Are they doing it because there's something hardware related going on later this year and they want to plan/market around that?

Will sure be funny when the Mini comes around and people are disappointed, then next month we get the hardware reveal with accompanying general direct!

Heh, if only, right?

The new hardware is like... imminent. Dunno why people are freaking out.

Really interesting.

I wonder if this is a response to the “we don’t have a good window to release our games because of Nintendo’s schedule” quote we heard from UbiSoft a while ago.

If this is a Partner, then it is safe to assume we entered the transitional time for Nintendo.

They clearly have a lot of first party games,. It's obvious they are holding back

So I guess Metroid Prime DE is held off until next year then? Don't see them waiting until september to announce it and releasing it two months later, this isn't 2020 anymore

Is it now Really a f*** Partner Mini? Really? I though they whre a thing of the past... RIP, well at least it's something still suck imo.

RIP DK
RIP BotW 2
RIP everything I was looking forward to lol

I miss E3

I mean a new NSO n64 roadmap could be at a partners direct if they got a bunch of third party support so doesn’t effect the one thing i care about if it really is the case

Give me youtube and Twitter drops and constant marketing! I want it like an infusion over the course of the year rather than the bolus that is a direct.

It is what it is. I'll have to wait for WWHD+TPHD a bit longer! But that's okay. Live A Live & Xenoblade Chronicles 3 come out next month, playing Spyro 2 right now on PS5, life's good.

I hope Bayonetta 3 will be present and ease some of my fears.

Platinum hasn't the best reputation nowadays and I fear it will hit Bayonetta 3 too. Kinda nervous about it.

Man, I'm just trying to figure out how we went from "No one is saying it isn't a General. No one is saying it is a Mini or a Partner" and "Expecting a good to solid show" to a Mini Partner in the span of 5 days.

Mario + Rabbids and Persona is good enough expectations for me with a Partners direct.
Those two games would finally give us a good Partner Direct. I know there were those with Monster Hunter and SMT but I don't like Monster Hunter and I've had SMTV since launch and have yet to play it

I don’t think Nintendo has an August game, Xenoblade coming out in July-ish territory would fill that slot. But they probably have an October game they would want to reveal before a September direct, Mario Kart DLC, Strikers DLC, a release date for Bayo. I guess the can all be Twitter announcements, but why not just throw them in with the third party info for a full direct? It’ll be interesting to see what Nintendo does
