The schadenfreude of the Xenoblade direct being better than the General one after all the complaints about it would be glorious, so that's a nice consolation prize at least.

Bruh if we can’t even expect Bayonetta 3 to show up now (this game fits the criteria for a General, Mini and Partners direct), then I’m feeling even more bullish of a new switch hardware coming soon. Because you’d sure as heck want to show Bayonetta 3 there, right?

What part of the roller coaster are us in? The corkscrew?
Also, since Brazil is being cited somehow, I'm from Brazil!

Nintendo should make something called "Nintendo Direct Retro" where EPD employees would be talking about past Nintendo systems and games for it. All the memories from years ago. From NES to Wii U.

For example:

Tune in for 50 minutes of Mr. Miyamoto talking about why the Wii U was such a piece of shit.

*Retro name does not mean that Retro's cancelled games would be covered.
there you go

Aren't Partner Directs indicative of plans changing?

What a positive outlook you have my dear

It'd be hilarious if the Direct was 1st-party only. That would explain why Nate would still have to edit (he previously said the first and third-party podcast sections were split).

Realistically, it's probably because the Mini/Partner is bootycheeks oops

The only reason why Nate is doubtful is because this Direct is actually a Macro Direct that'll last the entire day.

... and that's before the week-long Treehouse segment that airs after it.

I wonder if, for some reason, Nintendo is making a 1st party-exclusive general Direct (the one on the 28th/29th) and a separate Partner Direct some time afterwards that would include the likes of Bayo 3? Maybe that's where the confusion is coming from?

We need a thread slower. Only one post allowed every 30 seconds. I have no clue what’s the latest
Would it not delay the direct though?
The theory seemed to be: by generating chaos and entropy this thread reduce the time until the direct appears or at the least alter our perception of time and space to do so.

Not even confident on a Mini Direct anymore, then. I don't know what Nintendo is doing, but at this point (and with so many broken patterns) I'm not expecting a Direct in September, either.

There is gonna be an event to announce new games this year at some point simply because there currently is just 1 game announced for next year and it's BotW2. For this year it was a already a packed schedule, assuming Mario+Rabbids or Bayonetta don't get delayed.

The E3 Direct was always to sell games coming later in the year plus an hype announcement because everybody does them around E3. The most meaty Directs in recent years have actually been the Q1 Directs I believe (based on my personal tastes).

It's this meme ALL again (meaning a general one)

We were confident for so long, Nintendo must have caught wind and decided we've had it too good for too long

Watch them Twitter drop Everybody's 1-2 Switch next week and nothing else, just to rub it in

Bayonetta 3 is a first party game. Nintendo is fully funding it and publishing the game worldwide. M+R, the Nintendo Warriors games, and Cadence if Hyrule are classified as third party because Nintendo only publishes then in one region.

At this point I would only be slightly surprised by a tweet Tuesday morning that reads "Tune in 6/29 at 7am PT/10am ET for the first-ever Donkey Kong: Fuck Zone of Piss Direct, followed by a 15-minute Dong Expansion"

Everyone does seem to have lots of sources on Everybody 1-2 Switch

Everyone also seemed to have sources on something happening this next week

Me personally, I'm excited for the mini direct this week that's just a bunch of release date updates and an inconsequential port of a popular game.

Well I am too tired. Gonna go to bed now, have a nice and crazy day/night/morning full of speculation.
